 Dr Vithalrao Vikhe Patil Foundations Medical College was founded in the year 2004. It is located at Vilad Ghat, Ahmednagar. It was founded under the guidance of Shree Balasaheb Vikhe Patil. 

The VIMS Ahmednagar has achieved remarkable achievements both in terms of academic & health services at grass root level since the beginning.VIMS Ahmednagar offers undergraduate courses, PG programs, PhD programs and diploma programs in Medicine field. The institute offers an MBBS program with an intake of 150 students per year.
