About B.Pharma:
The Bachelor of Pharmacy often known as B.Pharma is a 4 years undergraduate degree for students who want to become a pharmacist. Through this programme, students get to know about drug synthesis, dosage formulation, analysis of chemical nature and preclinical testing of new drugs. In B.Pharma, students also get to learn about the marketing of pharmaceutical drugs and patenting of new drugs. Admission to pharmacy colleges/institutes is given based on the student’s entrance examination performance as well as merit.
During B.Pharma, students study subjects like human anatomy, computer applications in pharmacy, biochemistry, physiology etc.
The average fee for a B.Pharma course is anywhere between INR 65,000 to INR 3, 20,000 per annum. B.Pharma is offered by many private and government colleges/institutes in India.
