CAT 2026 registration opens at 10:00 AM on 3 August 2026 and closes at 5:00 PM on 15 September 2026. The exam is on Sunday 29 November 2026. IIM Indore is conducting it this year.

The result line is worded the way IIM Indore words it. The bulletin says results are likely to be declared by the first week of January 2027. No exact date has been fixed, so treat anything more precise as a guess.
Fee
Rs 1,350 for SC, ST and PwBD candidates. Rs 2,700 for everyone else.
Before you register
Registration closes six weeks before the exam and there is no late window, so the deadline is the deadline. Keep your photograph and signature ready in the format the bulletin specifies before you start the form, because a rejected image is the most common reason a form sits incomplete past the closing date.

Where a CAT score takes you
Beyond the IIMs, a large number of non-IIM institutions accept CAT scores. Your score is valid until 31 December 2027, so it covers the admission cycle that follows the exam.
