Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2023&nbsp;is delayed again like the previous two years. The CMAT examination is most likely to be conducted in April 2023 by National Testing Agency (NTA). The registration process for the exam will start in mid-February 2023.&nbsp;
About the exam:
CMAT&nbsp;is a national-level MBA entrance examination for taking admission to MBA/PGDM colleges. Students who score high score in this examination are eligible to take admission to any of the AICTE-approved colleges.&nbsp;CMAT examination&nbsp;is a computer-based examination of a three-hour duration. Every year more than 70,000 students register for this examination. As per CMAT 2022 data, the number of test cities was 124 approx.
One of the biggest advantages of this examination is none of its test takers gets disqualified even if they score zero marks in the examination.&nbsp;CMAT exam&nbsp;is a moderate-difficulty MBA entrance exam.&nbsp;
Great Lakes Institute of Management, JBIMS, SIMSREE, K J Somaiya Mumbai, Welingkar Mumbai and PUMBA are some of those colleges that accept CMAT scores.&nbsp;

CMAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

<li>CMAT exam is usually conducted at the end of MBA entrance examinations by NTA so students don&rsquo;t have to study much as the experience of MBA entrance exams like CAT, XAT, and SNAP comes in use.</li>
<li>Around 1300 MBA colleges take part in this exam. They accept CMAT scores for admission to their colleges. These colleges are some of the top colleges in Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities.</li>
<li>The difficulty level of the CMAT exam is usually considered moderate so it is easier for students to crack this exam.</li>
<li>CMAT score for admission in top MBA colleges is usually not very high so students get the opportunity to get into a good MBA college with a decent CMAT score.</li>
<li>Candidates who have only passing marks in their graduation are also eligible to take this examination as there are no 50% aggregate criteria for CMAT application.&nbsp;</li>
<li>The application fee for women and reserved category candidates is lesser than the other MBA entrance examinations like CAT, XAT, IIFT, SNAP etc. In the CMAT exam, the application for women and reserved category is INR 1000.</li>

CMAT 2023 Exam Pattern:
CMAT 2023&nbsp;is an MCQ-based examination in which a total of 100 questions are asked. The questions are asked from five subjects which are

<li>Language comprehension</li>
<li>General Awareness</li>
<li>Innovation and entrepreneurship</li>

&nbsp;For every incorrect answer, the student is given a negative marking of 1 mark. Each question carries 4 marks. Innovation and Entrepreneurship were introduced as an optional subject in 2021. But in CMAT 2022, it was made compulsory.&nbsp;

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) 2023&nbsp;will happen between February 11 and March 4 in CBT, IBT and PBT modes. The&nbsp;MAT&nbsp;examination will be conducted once in PBT mode, twice in CBT mode and Five times in IBT mode in February. The registration process for&nbsp;the MAT exam 2023&nbsp;has still not started. Students can apply by filling out the application form available on the AIMA website. This year the authorities have increased the&nbsp;MAT exam&nbsp;fee by INR 50. The exam fee is now INR 1900. The number of test cities in PBT mode is 39 while for CBT mode, it is 27. Approx 18,000 to 20,000 students apply for this examination every year.&nbsp;
About the examination:&nbsp;
The&nbsp;Management Aptitude Test (MAT)&nbsp;is a national-level entrance examination for admissions to MBA/PGDM courses. This examination is conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA).&nbsp;MAT exam&nbsp;is held multiple times a year in four phases- February, May, September and December. Students who qualify for this examination are eligible to take admission to 800+ business schools accepting MAT scores.
MAT exam&nbsp;is conducted in various modes.

MAT 2023 exam eligibility criteria:
Students who are wishing to appear for&nbsp;MAT 2023 examination&nbsp;should check the eligibility criteria before registering for the examination. The eligibility criteria for the examination are given below.

<li>Applicant should have completed his/her graduation in any discipline or equivalent from a recognized university.</li>

CAT 2023: Common Admission Test is a national level management entrance exam conducted by IIMs for admission in post graduate management programmes. CAT is conducted every year and it is one of the toughest MBA exams held in India. Around 2 lakh students appear for this exam every year just to get admission to MBA/PGDM courses offered by IIMs and other CAT colleges.
This year Indian Institute of Management (IIMs) will conduct the CAT 2023 exam on the last Sunday of November 2023. The official notification of CAT 2023 exam will most likely to be released by IIM Lucknow in July. After that the registration process will start in August. The students who are wishing to appear for the CAT 2023 exam can apply at the CAT official website, iimcat.ac.in. After the exam, IIMs and other participating colleges shortlist the students based on their CAT score.&nbsp;
Eligibility for CAT 2023:
Candidates, who are willing to appear for the CAT 2023 examination, should know all the details related to eligibility. Students can check the eligibility criteria here just to avoid last minute cancellation of their application form. The eligibility criteria is given below.

<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">The students who are in their final year of their graduation can also appear for CAT 2023 exam, but they have to complete their graduation before the admission date.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">There are no specifications required for work experience. Candidates with professional degrees like CA/ICWA and CS are also eligible for CAT 2023.</li>

Once the notification of the CAT 2023 exam is out, the registration has to be done online on the official website of IIMCAT. Students can fill the application form in a few easy steps. The steps are mentioned below.

<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Firstly students should register themselves on the official website of CAT.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Click on the registration tab and fill in all the required information like name, parents name, email, phone number etc.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">You&rsquo;ll receive a unique registration id on your registered contact number.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Now login again on the portal with your id and fill in all the details.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Students will have to fill out following details in the form. These are Father&rsquo;s name, Mother&rsquo;s name, Date of birth, gender, nationality, category, address, graduation percentage, 10th and 12th marks. If student has previous work experience, he/she can fill that too.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Upload all the required documents.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Candidates will have to pay online for the exam. CAT form fees for various categories are given below.</li>

For General/ EWS/ NC-OBC, form fee is INR 2300
For SC/ ST/PWD category, the fee is INR 1150.&nbsp;
CAT 2023 Pattern:
CAT exam pattern is usually divided into 3 slots- VARC (Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension), DILR (Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning) and QA (Quantitative Ability). Students have to get high score in each of the sections to get selected by IIMs (Indian Institute of Management). Apart from the high score in the exam, work experience and good academic profile also help the students to get into top IIM College.&nbsp;

<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">The test duration is 120 minutes and it is divided into three sessions. Duration of each session of CAT is 40 minutes.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Total no. of questions asked is 60. The type of questions is MCQs and non MCQs.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">24 questions are asked from VARC section, 22 from QA and 20 from DILR.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">Students get -1 for each wrong answer.</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;" aria-level="1">+3 marks are given for each correct answer.</li>
