G.Pulla Reddy Dental College & Hospital was founded in the year 2006 with an annual intake of 50 BDS seats and 23 seats in various disciplines of Postgraduate Dental Sciences. G.Pulla Reddy Dental College & Hospital is connected with the DR. Y.S.R University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada, and is approved by the Dental Council of India.
G.Pulla Reddy Dental College & Hospital began offering MDS courses (PG Programs) in 2012 and 2013 in the Departments of Oral Medicine and Radiology, Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge, Periodontics, Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics, and Oral Pathology and Microbiology. The Dental Council of India recognized MDS specializations in 2015 and 2016.
GPRDCH Kurnool is built on 146593 square feet of land and has 219838 square feet of open space. The institution has a good infrastructure for providing dental education to students, as well as dedicated instructors. G. Pulla Reddy Dental College currently includes 103 dental chairs and a well-maintained laboratory with the most up-to-date technology.

The Library is completely automated, with the database handled by SLIM 21 software. It subscribes to up to 25 international journals, 12 national journals, and 297 electronic journals.
