Vellore Institute of Technology has released the VITMEE 2024 application form on the official website. Applicants looking for admission to MTech courses can fill out the VITMEE application form at vit.ac.in. Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form for VITMEE 2024. The application process for VITMEE 2024 comprises registration, filling out forms, uploading documents and fee payment. The VITMEE 2024 exam is conducted in online computer-based mode for 2 hours. The VITMEE exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 5, 2024. The last date to fill out the VITMEE application form is April 28, 2024.

Successfully registered candidates have to complete the VITMEE slot booking a few days before the exam. After successful slot booking, candidates will be able to download their VITMEE admit card 2024. The login credentials required to download the VITMEE admit card are the application number and password. VIT will release the VITMEE result 2024 on May 15. Shortlisted candidates will be called for the VITMEE counselling process later.

Detailed eligibility requirements of the VITMEE 2024 examination:

In case any individual is going to register for the VITMEE 2024 exam, he/she should first check the eligibility criteria for this exam because the students who do not fulfil the eligibility requirements of the VITMEE 2024 exam are not allowed to sit in the VITMEE 2024 exam.

Nationality requirements for the VITMEE 2024 exam:

  • The student should be of Indian nationality and should have graduated from any Institution in India. Or,
  • Foreign and PIO/ NRI students are allowed to appear in the VITMEE 2024 exam. 

Eligibility Criteria for the VITMEE 2024 exam:

  • The student should have scored/obtained a minimum aggregate of 60% or first grade in a full-time graduation degree from any recognized Institute/ University.
  • The student must ensure that they graduated from a suitable degree programme for a particular M.Tech specialisation as prescribed.
  • The students who are in the final year of an undergraduate degree can apply for admission but they will have to show that their final semester/ year is completed before the commencement of the counselling process.
  • All students must submit the provisional certificate letter and mark sheet of their final year before the prescribed date specified by the authorities.

  • The student should have a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University in BCA, B.Sc (IT/Computer Science) with Mathematics as a course at 10+2 level or Graduate Level.
  • The student should have obtained/scored at least 60% marks or in the I st Class at the qualifying Examination.

Stepwise application fees for the VITMEE 2024 examination:

The aspirants should follow the below-mentioned steps while filling out the VITMEE 2024 examination.

  • The student will visit the official website of the VITMEE 2024 exam https://vit.ac.in/ and register on the website with the required information. Once the registration is done, the student will receive the login credentials on the registered email ID or mobile number.
  • The student will log in to the portal with the help of the received login credentials.
  • Then the student will fill in the form with the necessary academic and personal information.
  • After that, the student will upload passport-size photographs and scanned signatures.
  • Upload mark sheets for all semesters. Candidates who are appearing in the final year examination can upload 6-semester mark sheets. Aadhar Card is also to be uploaded mandatorily.
  • Aspirants need to pay the application fee of INR 1200 once the form is submitted. Various payment options are available such as a Credit/Debit card or via Bank Transfer.
  • Print the form for future preferences.
