Updated: 18 October 2026 | Notice dated: 15 October 2026
If you want a remaining MBBS or BDS seat through Rajasthan NEET UG 2026 counselling, you must complete offline document verification from 18 to 20 October. Security deposit payment and choice filling are scheduled for 19 to 21 October.
This update is based on the counselling board’s notice dated 15 October, not a fresh notice issued on 18 October. As per the announced schedule, fresh registration closed on 17 October.
Document Verification: Jaipur Visit Required
-
Venue and time: Report to the Academic Block, SMS Medical College, Jaipur, between 9 am and 4 pm on 18–20 October.
-
Documents: Bring all your original documents along with a bond in the prescribed format. The board will keep the originals.
-
Choice filling: The choice-filling facility will be activated only after you complete document verification and submit the required bond.
To prepare, keep your NEET records, Class 10 and 12 certificates, identity proof and any domicile or category certificates ready. This is only an indicative list. Check the official Information Booklet for the complete requirements.
Security Deposit: Deadline and Amounts
The last date for payment is 21 October, 5 pm. The deposit depends on the course and seat type:
-
₹50,000: Government MBBS seats in government medical colleges, Government Society colleges, RUHS CMS and ESIC Medical College.
-
₹2 lakh: MBBS management seats in Government Society colleges and RUHS CMS.
-
₹5 lakh: MBBS seats in private medical colleges.
-
₹10,000: BDS seats in government dental colleges, RUHS CDS and private dental colleges.
Security deposit exemption: If your security deposit from a previous round has not been forfeited, you will generally not need to pay the same amount again. If the new requirement is higher, you may have to pay the difference.
Fresh Choices Are Compulsory
-
No carry-forward: Preferences submitted in Rounds 1, 2 and 3 will not carry forward.
-
Fresh choices: You must submit fresh choices between 19 and 21 October to stay eligible for seat allotment.
-
Automatic locking: All submitted choices will be locked automatically at 11:45 pm on 21 October.
This is separate from the 5 pm security deposit deadline. Completing one step does not replace the other.
The schedule does not give the total number of vacancies. Check the official seat matrix before you select your preferred colleges and courses.
Check Your Eligibility Before You Proceed
Registered candidates who did not get an allotment in the first three rounds may participate, subject to the board’s eligibility conditions.
-
If you were allotted a seat, or upgraded to a different seat, in Round 3 but did not join, you are not eligible for the stray vacancy round.
-
If you are marked “joined” on the MCC portal after Round 3, you are also excluded.
-
If you are already admitted elsewhere, you cannot seek simultaneous admission.
Check your eligibility against your previous allotment, joining, resignation and deposit-forfeiture records.
