The West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) published the Revised Provisional Seat Allotment Result for NEET UG Medical and Dental Counselling Round 3 on 12 October 2026. The revision followed a directive from the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) on 10 October, after reporting for All India Quota (AIQ) Round 3 had ended.

Please note that this is a revised provisional result, not a final result. If you received a Round 3 allotment, log in to the WBMCC portal and download your updated provisional allotment letter. Always go by the latest letter, not an older one.

Why Did WBMCC Revise the Result?

MCC Notice No. 25 told state counselling authorities to identify candidates who had already joined an AIQ seat by Round 3 and remove them from state seat processing. The aim was to stop a candidate from holding or getting seats through both AIQ and state counselling.

After this instruction, WBMCC announced that it would revise the Round 3 allotment and issue an updated counselling schedule. The revised result and schedule were published on 12 October.

Midnapore Medical College Seat Update

WBMCC confirmed that one seat at Midnapore Medical College became vacant and was added to the existing seat matrix. The committee also clarified that there was no fresh choice filling for this seat, because it had already appeared as a virtual vacancy.

This seat update does not by itself mean that only one candidate’s allotment has changed. Check your own status in the revised result and download the latest allotment letter.

What Candidates Should Do

If you received an allotment, you should:

  • Visit the official WBMCC UG Medical and Dental Counselling portal and sign in to your account.

  • Download the revised provisional allotment letter.

  • Check your name, NEET rank, allotted college, course, category or quota, and the admission instructions.

  • Keep the updated letter safe and follow the directions given by your allotted college.

Round 3 Reporting Dates Have Passed

Under the revised schedule, college reporting and admission were set for 13, 14 and 15 October 2026, generally between 10 am and 4 pm. WBMCC also showed an extension of the admission server until 5:30 pm on 15 October.

These dates are now over. If you did not report in the given period, check the latest WBMCC instructions without delay. Do not assume that the Round 3 reporting window is still open.

Online Stray Vacancy Round: Key Dates

The revised schedule gives these dates for the Online Stray Vacancy Round:

  • Registration: 16 October, 11 am to 8 pm

  • Fee payment: 16 October, 11 am to midnight

  • Document verification: 17 October, 9 am to 4 pm

  • Verified-candidate list and seat matrix: after 5 pm on 17 October

  • Choice filling and locking: 17 October, 6 pm, to 18 October, 10 am

  • Allotment result: by 12 noon on 23 October

  • College reporting: 23 October, 2 pm to 6 pm; and 24 and 26 October, 10 am to 4 pm

If you joined an AIQ seat, check your eligibility carefully before taking part in the state Stray Vacancy Round. MCC’s filtering instruction applies to state counselling, and qualifying in NEET alone does not guarantee eligibility for every counselling stage.
