Lucknow | 8 September 2026: There is major news for medical aspirants in Uttar Pradesh. The UP NEET UG 2026 Round 1 Seat Allotment Result has been released on the official UPNEET portal, upneet.gov.in. Candidates who registered and completed choice-filling for Round 1 counselling can now check their allotment result online.
How to Check the Results
Candidates should follow the steps below:
- Visit the official website, upneet.gov.in.
- Open the Seat Allotment Result section
- Select the relevant UG/NEET course.
- Enter your NEET Roll Number and NEET Application Number.
- Fill in the captcha and submit.
- View the allotted college and course details on the screen
- Download the allotment letter and take a printout.

Allotted candidates must report to their allotted college within the prescribed time limit; failing to do so may result in the cancellation of their seat.

- Class 10 and Class 12 Mark Sheets and Certificates
- Domicile Certificate (where applicable)
- Caste/Category Certificate
- Valid ID Proof
- Passport-size Photographs
Candidates are advised to carry photocopies of all documents along with the originals.
Security Deposit and Fee Structure
In UP NEET UG counselling, the security money varies according to the seat category
- Government Medical/Dental College: ₹30,000
- Private Medical College: ₹2,00,000
- Private Dental College: ₹1,00,000
- In addition, the counselling registration fee of ₹2,000 is non-refundable.
What If You Have Not Been Allotted a Seat?
Candidates who have not been allotted a seat in Round 1 need not be disheartened. The facility for Round 2 counselling registration, choice-filling and vacant seat information will be updated on the UPNEET portal shortly. Candidates should keep checking the official website regularly for updates.
