The TNEA 2024 application process comprises TNEA registration, form filling, document uploading, and payment of the TNEA application fee. TNEA 2024 Admission Procedure will be conducted by Anna University every year. The full form of TNEA is Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission. This exam is conducted to provide admission in UG Engineering programs such as B. Tech and B.E. degree courses. It is a state-level admission procedure organised each year. The admission is given based on the student's score in 12th. The selected student's name will appear in the rank list. Qualified students will get admission to various private and government Engineering colleges/ institutes affiliated with Anna University.

What are the eligibility requirements for the TNEA 2024 examination?

Anybody who wishes to sit in the TNEA 2024 examination, can check the eligibility criteria of this examination here. It is important to fulfil the eligibility requirements of the TNEA 2024 exam because if the student doesn't meet the requirements of this entrance exam, he/she will not be allowed to sit in the TNEA 2024 exam. That is why the students are advised to check the eligibility criteria for the exam before going for registration.

General eligibility requirements of the TNEA 2024 exam:

• The students should have cleared/passed the 8^th, 9^th, 10^th, 11^th, and 12^th level exams from Tamil Nadu.
• If students should have cleared/passed 8^th to 12^th class or its equivalent exam outside Tamil Nadu then they should show an Original Nativity Certificate only in electronic form/ digitally signed e-certificate.
• Children of Central Government Employees are allowed to apply for admission to their native (from the past five years) at the time of submission of the application.
• The students who are from Sri Lankan Tamil Refugee studies in Tamil Nadu will be considered under open competition. They have to show the following certificates:

1. Identification certificate from the Head Quarters Tahsildar.
2. Those who will not register in the refugee camp should produce their original passport, visa and letter registered with the Police Station.

Education Qualification needed for the TNEA 2024 examination:

• The students should clear the 11^th & 12^th exams or equivalents from any recognised board.
• In the qualifying exam, the students should pass with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry to be eligible for the TNEA 2024 exam.
• The students should score 45% (For general), 40% (For Backward Class including Backward Class Muslims), 40% (For MBC and DNC), and 40% (SC, ST, SCA) marks in the qualifying exam.

Eligiblity requirements for the Marine Engineering program:

• The maximum age to appear in this exam is 25 years.
• The student should pass/clear 12^th intermediate or equivalent from any recognized board.
• The students should obtain/score at least 60% in PCM and 50% marks in English.
• The student should pass the qualifying exam with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English to be eligible.

What documents are needed during the registration process for the TNEA 2024 examination?

• Student's registered Mobile number.
• Student's registered Email ID.
• Student's class 10 mark sheet.
• +2 Hall ticket / +2 Mark sheet.

The stepwise registration process for the TNEA 2024 examination:

Here is the step-wise registration process for the TNEA 2024 exam for individuals who want to register themselves for the TNEA 2024 exam. 

• Step 1 - The student will first visit the official website of the exam tneaonline.org and fill in the required details like name, registered mobile number, email ID, date of birth, gender etc.

• Step 2 - Once the registration is done, Once done, the student will receive login credentials on his/her registered email ID or number. Now the student will log in to the portal and fill out the TNEA Application form.

• Step 3 - In the application form, the student will fill in details like nationality, gender, parent's name, address, and valid ID proof. Once all the required fields are filled, the student will click on the “save and proceed” button.

• Step 4 - The student should also enter the special reservation information ( if any).

• Step 5 - Once the student is done with filling out the important dates and documents uploading, he/she will pay the TNEA 2024 application fees.

• Step 5 - Once the payment is done, the student will submit the form and save it for future use.
