Jaipur, September 7, 2026: The NEET UG Medical & Dental Admission/Counselling Board, Rajasthan, based at SMS Medical College, Jaipur, has announced the Round 2 counselling schedule for MBBS and BDS admissions through an official notice dated September 5, 2026.
According to the notified schedule, several important Round 2 activities begin today, September 7, including the publication of the provisional vacant seat matrix and the opening of the security deposit and online choice-filling process.
What Changes on September 7?
Provisional Vacant Seat Matrix
The Rajasthan counselling board is scheduled to publish the provisional vacant seat matrix today. It will indicate the seats available after the completion of Round 1 joining.
Candidates should use this matrix as a reference while planning their choices. The vacant seat matrix does not itself confirm admission or allotment of a seat.
Security Deposit and Choice Filling
The security deposit window and online choice filling also begin on September 7. Candidates can enter their preferences and revise or save their choices during the prescribed choice-filling period.

Candidates who registered during Round 1 do not need to register again for Round 2.
Fresh candidates should also note that the application fee is non-refundable and must be paid by September 8 at 4:00 PM.
The Part 2 form remains editable until final submission, which must be completed by 8:00 PM on September 8.
