Updated: 20 October 2026
Rajasthan’s NEET UG 2026 Stray Vacancy Round has reached a crucial stage. The board’s 17 October seat matrix lists 1,077 MBBS and 135 BDS seats. As of 20 October, registration is closed; eligible candidates must complete verification, deposit payment and choice filling within the remaining deadlines. Check the official portal for revised instructions.
What does the seat matrix show?
Of the MBBS vacancies, six are Government seats and three are Management seats at RUHS-CMS/RAJMES institutions. Private colleges account for 1,068 seats—758 General and 310 Management. No MBBS NRI vacancy is listed. The reported MBBS tally covers Rajasthan’s 85% State Quota.
The BDS matrix records 135 seats: four Government, 103 private General and 28 private Management. One starred General seat at Maharaja Ganga Singh Dental College, Ganganagar, is to remain vacant under the Rajasthan High Court’s 16 October order. Thus, 135 is the matrix total, not a guarantee that every seat can be allotted.
Key dates for candidates
Registration opened on 16 October; fee payment closed on 17 October at 4 pm, and Part 1 and Part 2 applications at 8 pm. The remaining schedule is:
-
Document verification and original-document submission: 18–20 October, 9 am–4 pm.
-
Security deposit and choice filling: 19–21 October. The deposit is due by 5 pm on 21 October; choices auto-lock at 11.45 pm.
-
Allotment result: 22 October. Tuition payment and reporting run from 22–26 October; on 26 October, payment closes at 5 pm and reporting at 8 pm.
Choice filling is enabled only after the required document and bond formalities. Allotment depends on merit, eligibility, vacancies and preferences—not on a first-come, first-served basis.
Documents to keep ready
The board’s checklist comprises 15 enclosures; candidates should submit those applicable to their case:
-
NEET UG 2026 scorecard and Rajasthan application; Class 10 and 12 marksheets, including all Class 12 attempts; birth-date proof; Transfer, Migration or Character Certificate; and accepted photo ID.
-
Applicable domicile, caste/sub-category and special-eligibility documents; valid State EWS and OBC-NCL/MBC-NCL certificates for 2026–27. PwBD proof must be issued by an MCC-designated centre.
-
Prescribed bond, Proforma 7 on ₹50 stamp paper and, for BDS, the aggregate PCB marks undertaking.
Bring all originals, two self-attested photocopy sets and four passport photographs matching the application. BDS applicants must meet the PCB minimum: 50% for General, 40% for SC/ST/OBC and 45% for PwBD candidates.
Bond, deposits and eligibility
Proforma 7 is separate from the main MBBS/BDS bond. The main bond requires stamp paper of at least ₹500 and signatures from the candidate, surety and two witnesses. Under its terms, a breach may make both parties jointly and severally liable for the full-course tuition fee or ₹10 lakh, whichever is higher, plus interest and legal expenses. Original documents may be retained as specified in the bond.
Published schedule summaries list security deposits of ₹50,000 for Government MBBS, ₹2 lakh for RUHS-CMS/RAJMES Management, ₹5 lakh for private MBBS and ₹10,000 for BDS. These are separate from tuition and bond liabilities; verify the latest portal notice before paying.
Candidates marked “Joined” in MCC Round 3, and those allotted or upgraded in that round but not joined, are reported ineligible. Others should check their exact status against the board’s notice. Given limited Government MBBS vacancies and varying private-college costs, choose only seats you can realistically accept and finance.
