The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has formally announced the provisional seat allotment outcome for the NEET UG 2026 Stray Vacancy Round. The notice was issued on 19 October 2026, and the allotment PDF can be accessed on the Current Events UG page of the MCC website.

Titled “Revised Provisional NEET-UG Counselling Seats Allotment – 2026 Stray Round”, the document remains provisional. MCC has cautioned candidates that it does not confirm a final admission or give them the right to claim an allotted seat.

What candidates will find in the allotment PDF

The 137-page PDF lists candidates’ allotment details, with the final entry carrying serial number 3108. Candidates should check more than just the name of the allotted college. The key details include:

  • NEET rank

  • Allotted quota and institution

  • Course, such as MBBS or BDS

  • Allotted category and candidate category

  • Remarks related to the allotment

Any mismatch should be reviewed against the candidate’s application and counselling details.

Grievance deadline was 20 October

In its notice, reference number U-11011/07/2026-MEC, MCC asked candidates to report discrepancies through the “Candidates Grievances And Query Redressal System” available in the Candidate Login. The stated deadline was 11:00 am on 20 October 2026.

Candidates should not assume that an additional grievance window or extension will be available unless MCC announces one. For any further update, they should check their login and MCC’s official website.

Refrain from reporting to a college on the strength of the provisional result alone

MCC’s revised schedule had listed the reporting period as 19 to 26 October. However, the result notice specifically directs candidates to visit the allotted college or institution only after the final result is declared. Therefore, candidates should not treat the provisional allotment or the published reporting dates as permission to report immediately.

The allotment PDF also carries an important instruction for certain candidates: if the category or quota changes for the same institution and course, the candidate must obtain the online Relieving Letter and generate a fresh online Admission Letter for the revised seat. Failure to complete these steps could put the allotment at risk.

What candidates should do now

  • Check the PDF: Open the provisional result through MCC’s Current Events UG page and verify all allotment particulars.

  • Monitor official updates: Wait for the final result and follow the instructions issued with it.

  • Complete the correct admission steps: After the final result, recheck the college, course, quota and category before proceeding.

As of the review on 20 October 2026, MCC’s Current Events UG page displayed the provisional result entry, but a separate final-result link was not visible. Candidates should revisit the official page for the latest status rather than rely on the provisional PDF.

For general assistance, MCC has listed helpline 7824848020 and email mcc2026@gov.in. These contacts are for support; the notice specified the Candidate Login grievance system for reporting allotment discrepancies.
