Jharkhand | 20 October 2026

The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has released merit lists and ineligible-candidate lists for the NEET UG 2026 Stray Vacancy Round. Dated 19 October, the documents cover state quota admissions to MBBS, BDS and BHMS courses, along with All India seats at selected private medical and dental colleges.

Five documents released

  • JCECEB’s official download section includes:

  • State quota merit list and Not Eligible list.

  • MBBS All India Seats merit list and Not Eligible list for private medical colleges.

  • BDS All India Seats merit list for Vananchal Dental College, Garhwa, and Awadh Dental College, Jamshedpur.

State quota and All India seat lists are separate. Candidates should check the PDF that matches their course and seat category. Importantly, a name on a merit list does not confirm a seat allotment or admission. Allotment will depend on eligibility, choices submitted and seat availability.

What the All India lists show

The MBBS All India merit list for private medical colleges contains 638 candidates across 18 pages. The first listed score is 550. The BDS All India merit list contains 86 candidates across four pages, with a first listed score of 500.

These figures relate only to the respective All India lists; they do not represent the size of the complete state quota list or the number of vacant seats. The PDFs include details such as application number, NEET roll number, category, score, All India Rank (AIR) and CML rank. Candidates should note that CML rank and NEET AIR are different measures.

Check the Not Eligible lists carefully

The state quota Not Eligible list names three candidates, with NEET scores of 199, 195 and 186. The MBBS All India Not Eligible list names two candidates, with scores of 199 and 180. JCECEB cites failure to meet the minimum qualifying cut-off percentile applicable to the candidate’s category.

Anyone listed should read the remarks column and check the relevant eligibility requirements in the official notice. Applying for counselling alone does not guarantee eligibility.
