Detailed eligibility criteria for the OUAT 2024 examination:

The eligibility criteria for the OUAT 2024 exam for UG and PG programs are different. the students who wish to appear in this exam should make sure that he/she fulfils the eligibility requirements of the desired course. If he/she doesn't meet the requirements of the program, he/she won't be allowed to appear in the OUAT 2024 exam. Here are the detailed eligibility criteria for the OUAT 2024 exam for the individuals who wish to appear in this exam.

Eligibility requirements for UG programmes:

For B.Sc. (Hons.)/ Agriculture/ Forestry/ Horticulture program:

  • As of December 31, 22, the student should be older than 17 years old.
  • The student should have cleared/passed the 10+2 intermediate exam or a test equivalent from a board that is recognised.
  • The student should have scored/secured at least 50% marks(or 40% in the reserved category students).
  • Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology are required disciplines for the students who wish to appear in the OUAT 2024 exam.

B.Tech. (Agriculture Engineering) program:

  • The student should have cleared/passed the 10+2 intermediate exam or a recognised board's equivalent.
  • For admission, the student should have studied PCM as one of his/her required subjects.
  • To be eligible for the exam, the student should score/obtain at least 50% marks (or 40% for the reserved category students).

Eligibility requirements for PG programmes:

For M.Sc. (Agriculture):

  • The student should have a bachelor's degree from a school that the state or federal government has recognised.
  • The student should have scored/obtained at least 60% marks for the general category (and 50% for the restricted category students).

For M.Tech (Agriculture Engineering):

  • The student should have a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • The student should have scored/obtained at least 60% marks(or 50% for students in the reserved category).

What steps are required during the registration process of OUAT 2024 examination?

Here is the detailed registration process of OUAT 2024 exam for the applicants who want to appear in OUAT 2024 examination.

Step 1: First, the student will go to the official website of OUAT 2024 exam “www.ouat.nic.in”

Step 2: Now the student will read the prospectus for the UG and PG courses carefully.

Step 3: Now the student will go to the admission section and click on student login for UG and PG admission- 2023 or directly go to https://ouat-lokaseba-odisha.in.

Step 4: Now the student login window will appear and the candidate will fill up the asked information to log in. 

Step 5: After login, the student will land up on the dashboard page, showing available services to apply for, under the Apply Section.

Step 6: Now the student will click on the apply button. Then the form will appear on the student's computer screen.

Step 7: In this step, the student will fill up the application form.

Step 8: The student will enter the correct personal information, and upload his/her recent passport-size colour photograph, full signature in jpg/jpeg format and other information.

Step 9: Before submission of the application form, the students should check the details which are filled in the form and make the corrections if needed.

Step 10: Now the student will submit the form. Once the submission is done, the student will move on to another window for payment of the application fee.

Step 11: In this step, the student will pay the application fees for the OUAT 2024 exam.  

Step 12: Once the payment is done, the student will receive a message on the registered mobile number or email ID. After that, the student can take a printout of the computer-generated filled application form with payment details for future reference.
