What are the eligibility requirements for the NIMCET 2024 examination?
Those who wish to sit in the NIMCET 2024 examination, should make sure that they meet the below-mentioned eligibility requirements of this exam. Otherwise they won’t be able to appear in the NIMCET 2024 exam.
· The student should be an Indian citizen.
· The student should have obtained/secured at least 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale (55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale in case of SC/ ST) in (i) BSc / BSc (Hons) / BCA / BIT of minimum three years full-time with Mathematics/Statistics/Equivalent subject as one of the subjects from a recognized University.
· The students who belong to the SC/ST category should have secured/obtained at least 55% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale in (i) BSc/BSc (Hons)/BCA/BIT of minimum 3 years full-time with Mathematics/Statistics/Equivalent subject as one of the subjects from a recognized University.
· The students who have a BE/B Tech or equivalent degree from a recognized University are allowed to appear in the NIMCET 2024 exam.
· Aspirants who are going to appear in the qualifying examination can also apply for NIMCET 2024
· The students who have completed or completed a degree in three years BSc / BSc(Hons)/BCA/ BIT from Open Universities can also apply provided their programme is approved by UGC / AICTE and Distance Education Council (DEC) of Govt. of India.
