The National Institute of Design (NID) will declare the results of the DAT Prelims exam for the M.Des program on February 16, 2024. The DAT Prelims result for the B.Des program will be announced on March 28, 2024.

The National Institute of Design conducted the DAT Prelims exam on December 24, 2024.

The exam was conducted in an OMR-based) mode. The prelims question paper for the B.Des program included both textual and visual questions, while the M.Des paper included a mix of objective and subjective questions.

The FINAL results of the NID DAT 2024 exam will be prepared by giving weightage to DAT Prelims and DAT Mains.

What are the eligibility requirements for the NID DAT 2024 examination?

The students who wish to appear in the NID DAT 2024 exam should first make sure that they meet the eligibility requirements of this exam because if they fail to do so, they will not be allowed to sit in the entrance exam. Hence the students should ensure that they fulfil the eligibility requirements of this exam.

  • Eligiblity criteria for B.Des Programme - The students should have cleared/passed 12th standard in any stream ( Science, Humanities, Commerce ) from CBSE, IB, ICSE, or equivalent recognized board. Candidates appearing for Class 12 exams in 2024 are also eligible to apply.

  • Eligiblity criteria for M.Des Programme - The students should have completed a Bachelor's degree from a recognized college/ university. The students should not exceed 30 years of age as on June 30, 2024.
