Round 1 Deadline Extended the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has announced the new revised schedule for NEET UG counselling 2026. The last date for Round 1 is extended to provide adequate time to make a choice to the counselling portal.

Fee Submission Deadline Extended 

Further, the KEA has initiated an action to extend the last date for submission of fees. The decision was taken after listening to the complaints of the candidates regarding the counselling dates and reporting to college.

Seat Allotment and Reporting Dates

KEA has published the seat allotment and reporting dates for upcoming counselling events on its official website. It would be beneficial to complete all the steps before the last date as the portal gets slow due to traffic during peak time.

Updated Notice Published

KEA has published an updated notice for Round 1 with new timeframes for 

  1.  Choice-filling save and last-edit end date/time 
  2.  Seat allotment and result dates 
  3.  Acceptance and allotment verification (if applicable) 
  4.  Amount and due date for admission fee / seat acceptance fee 
  5.  Last date for submission of original documents at allotted college

Where To Check Revised Schedule 

Candidates can check the list of NEET UG 2026 revised schedule on cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea. Candidates should look for the latest round 1 notification/schedule link and download it in their system for future reference having a note of the revised dates.

Instructions for Candidates

1. It is imperative to verify whether the selected college/course/category/place is as per the candidate’s choice.

2. Candidates should maintain a list of alternate choice and print/save the acknowledgments and other mandatory documents. It is advisable to take screenshots or save the documents digitally for future reference in case of any technical difficulties.

3. Candidates should ensure that they make the payment for the admission/seat acceptance fee before the due date.

Advisory To Candidates 

It is suggested that candidates make a track of all the updates and complete all formalities in time. In case of non-adherence to the guidelines, candidates may not be considered eligible for processing in Round 1 and may be barred from future rounds of counselling.
