The Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination 2024 will be commenced from March 16, 2024, to March 22, 2024. The authorities started the JEECUP 2024 registration process on January 8, 2024, and ended the registration process on March 4, 2024.  

The students who have applied for the JEECUP 2024 exam were able to edit their details for correction till March 4, 2024. The admit cards for the exam will be released on March 10, 2024. The answer key of the JEECUP 2024 exam will be available on the official website of the exam https://jeecup.admissions.nic.in/ from March 27 to March 30, 2024. The result announcement date of JEECUP 2024 is yet not been released but the results are expected to be announced on April 8, 2024. 

The conducting authority of the JEECUP 2024 exam is the Joint Entrance Examination Council (JEEC), UP. Every year, the authority conducts the UP Polytechnic exam for the students who are aspiring to enrol in diverse diploma courses provided by affiliated institutes in Uttar Pradesh. The student who wishes to appear in the JEECUP 2024 exam should be at least 14 years old. To complete the application process, the student will have to enter the essential information like name, gender, date of birth, etc. The students should provide the right and valid details in the application form. What are the eligibility requirements for the JEECUP 2024 examination?

Those who are planning to appear in the JEECUP 2024 exam should first check the eligibility criteria of the exam before registering for its admission process. If any student fulfils the eligibility requirements of the JEECUP 2024 exam, he/she will be allowed to sit in the exam and if he/she doesn't meet the requirements of the entrance exam, the student won't be allowed to appear in the JEECUP 2024 exam.

Here are the eligibility requirements for the JEECUP 2024 exam for the aspirants who want to appear in this exam.

  • The student should be a minimum of 14 years as of 1st July 2024. There is no upper age limit prescribed to apply for the JEECUP 2024 exam.
  • The students who are appearing in the qualifying exam or are waiting for the results of the qualifying exam are allowed to apply for the JEECUP 2024 exam.
  • The students who wish to take admission to Engineering & Technology Diploma programs should have cleared/passed/qualified 10th level with at least 35% marks from a recognized board or university.
  • The students who wish to take admission to Agriculture Engineering courses, should have cleared/qualified/passed the 10th level obtaining a minimum of 35% marks with agriculture subject in 10th or 12th from a recognized board or university.
  • The students who wish to take admission to Diploma in Pharmacy programs should have cleared/passed 10+2 level with Physics & Chemistry as compulsory subjects with Maths/ Biology (Zoology & Botany) from a recognized board or university.
  • The students who have a domicile in the state of Uttar Pradesh are allowed to sit in the JEECUP 2024 examination.
  • The students who have cleared/passed their 10th or 12th standard from the schools that come under the Uttar Pradesh board are also eligible to apply for the JEECUP 2024 examination.

What steps will be required while filling out the JEECUP 2024 application form?

If the aspirant is going to participate in the registration process for the JEECUP 2024 examination, he/she should follow the below-mentioned steps. 

  • First, the aspirant will open the official website of the JEECUP 2024 exam https://jeecup.admissions.nic.in/
  • Now the student will click on the "Online Registration" link and register on the portal by providing the asked information. 
  • After filling out the information, the aspirant is going to submit the details. Once the submission is done, the student will receive the login credentials on the registered email ID or mobile number.
  • Now the student will log in to the website with the help of login credentials and open the application form.
  • Then the student will fill out the form by providing personal, communication, and educational details.
  • In this step, the student will upload a scanned copy of the candidate’s photograph, a scanned copy of the student’s signature, and a scanned copy of the student's thumb impression.
  • Then, the student will pay the application fees for the exam and submit the form.
  • At the end, the student will download a hard copy of the filled form for future reference.
