On 21 February 2024, the JCECEB started the Jharkhand Polytechnic Entrance Competitive Examination 2024 application process. The students can fill out the JCECE PECE 2024 application form till March 21, 2024. This year, the Jharkhand Polytechnic exam is going to be held on April 7, 2024 (10:30 AM to 1.00 PM).  Through this exam, the students get admission to various polytechnic colleges in Jharkhand state. Jharkhand PECE is an offline exam of 2 hours and 30 minutes duration.  

The application form for the JCECE PECE 2024 exam is available on its official website  www.jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in. Jharkhand PECE 2024 application form is available online. The students who wish to appear in the Jharkhand Polytechnic 2024 exam can access the Jharkhand Polytechnic admit card online on the official website four days before the exam. Only the students who successfully register on the website will be able to download the admit card for the exam. The admit card is an important document which the student should carry on the exam day. Before participating in the exam, the students should make sure that they meet the eligibility requirements of this exam. 

Once the result of the jCECE PECE 2024 exam is announced, the counselling process of the exam will begin. The counselling process includes choice filling, seat allotment and document verification. This year, the Jharkhand Polytechnic counselling process will begin in June 2024.

What are the eligibility requirements for the JCECE PECE 2024 examination?

If the student is planning to register for the JCECE PECE 2024 exam, he/she should ensure that they meet the eligibility requirements of this exam because if he/she fails to do so, he/she will not be allowed to appear in this exam. Here are the eligibility requirements for the JCECE PECE 2024 exam, for the individuals who want to appear in this examination.

• The student should be a citizen of Jharkhand state or have a domicile to be eligible for the JCECE PECE 2024 examination.
• The student should have cleared/qualified/passed class 10 or equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 35%.
• The student appearing in class 10 in 2024 can also sit in the JCECE 2024 exam.
• There is no age limit prescribed except for a Diploma in Mining Engineering for which the minimum age required is 17 years.
• The student will have to show a medical certificate or physical fitness certificate prescribed by the registered medical professional at the time of admission.

What is the step-wise registration process for the JCECE PECE 2024 examination?

To appear in the JCECE PECE 2024 exam, the students will have to first fill out the application form. Without filling out the application form for the JCECE PECE 2024 exam, the students can not appear in the entrance exam. Hence it is important to first register for the JCECE PECE 2024 examination. 

Here is the step-wise registration process for the JCECE PECE 2024 examination.

• First, the student will go to the official website of JCECEB i.e. www.jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in and register himself/herself on the website by providing personal details such as the Candidate’s Name, Father’s Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Category, Mobile Number, and Email ID etc.
• After that, the student will submit the information. After submitting the information, the student will get the registration ID on his/her registered email ID or mobile number.
• Then, the student will log in to the website with the help of login credentials.
• In this step, the student will open the application form and fill in the required information like personal details, educational details, communication details etc.
• The student will also select the desired exam city/centre.
• Then the student will upload the scanned image of a passport-size photograph, his/her signature, and a left-thumb impression. 
• After uploading the necessary documents/images, the student will pay the application fees for the exam.
• After paying the fees, the student's registration is done. Then the student can download a copy of the form for future use.
