The Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences (UHSR) has opened registration and choice filling for Haryana NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 3 from today, September 28. Candidates hoping to secure MBBS and BDS seats in government, government-aided, and private medical and dental colleges across Haryana can now log in to the official portal, uhsrugcounselling.com, and get started.

This round matters a lot if you’re trying to secure a seat under the state quota or the private management category.

Important Dates for Haryana NEET UG Round 3

Here’s the schedule candidates need to keep in mind so nothing gets missed:

  • Fresh Registration & Choice Filling/Locking: September 28 to October 10, 2026 (up to 11:59 PM)
  • Provisional Seat Allocation: October 12, 2026
  • Provisional Tuition Fee Payment: October 12 to October 14, 2026 (up to 11:00 PM)
  • Physical Document Verification: October 15 & 16, 2026 (from 9:00 AM)
  • Provisional Admission Letter Download: October 15 to October 17, 2026
  • Last Date to Join Allotted Institute: October 17, 2026 (up to 4:00 PM)

Important Rule: You Have to Fill Fresh Choices

Here’s something every candidate should know — the choices you submitted in Round 1 and Round 2 no longer count. Whether you’re a fresh candidate, someone who didn’t get a seat earlier, or someone hoping to upgrade, you’ll need to fill your choices again for Round 3.

If you want to upgrade a seat you already have, you’ll also need to submit your willingness online and carefully arrange your preferred colleges in the new list.

Registration Fee and Security Deposit

Registration comes with a non-refundable fee — ₹2,500 for unreserved candidates and ₹1,250 for candidates under Haryana’s reserved categories. On top of that, you’ll need to pay a security deposit that depends on which colleges you choose. If you’re only picking government colleges, the deposit is ₹10,000 (₹5,000 for reserved categories). But if you include even one private medical or dental college in your list, the deposit jumps to ₹1,00,000.

Document Verification Will Happen in Rohtak

This time, document verification works a little differently — it’s centralised. If you get a provisional seat and pay your tuition fee by October 14, you’ll need to personally show up with all your original documents at the Sushruta Auditorium, Pt. B.D. Sharma UHS, Rohtak, on October 15 or 16. Sending someone on your behalf won’t work — you have to be there yourself.

A Note for Candidates Who Joined in Round 2

If you took a seat in Round 2 and now want to resign, UHSR has kept a separate window open for you. You can submit your resignation in person at your allotted college by October 3, 2026 (4:00 PM). Resignations sent by email will not be accepted.

One last tip — don’t wait for the October 10 deadline to lock your choices. Keep checking the official portal regularly so you don’t miss any update.
