Candidates from Chhattisgarh who are looking for admission to MBBS and BDS courses have one more chance to get a seat through the NEET UG 2026 Stray Vacancy Round. The Commissionerate of Medical Education (CGDME) issued the Round 4 notice on 16 October 2026. Its Clear Vacancy Matrix lists 180 seats: 87 in MBBS and 93 in BDS.
New registration and choice filling are scheduled to begin on 17 October. Please note that the deadlines for registration and choice locking are different.
Important Dates and Deadlines
- Round 4 notice issued: 16 October 2026
- New registration: 17 October, 11:00 AM to 18 October, 5:00 PM

180 Vacancies Across MBBS and BDS
The vacancy matrix includes seats in government and private institutions. Availability differs by college, quota and category. Some of the larger MBBS vacancies are:
- 26 seats at Abhishek I Mishra Memorial Medical College, Bhilai
- 23 seats at Raipur Institute of Medical Sciences
- 20 seats at Shri Rawatpura Sarkar Institute, Nava Raipur
- For BDS, the matrix lists:
- 20 seats at Maitri College of Dentistry and Research Centre
- 18 seats each at Government Dental College, Raipur, and New Horizon Dental College
- 17 seats at Rungta College of Dental Sciences and Research
Many private-college vacancies fall under the Management Quota. The matrix also states that NRI seats have been converted to Management Quota as per the applicable rules. Check the latest college-wise list before you select a seat.
Who Can Take Part?
The notice allows eligible fresh applicants as well as eligible candidates who registered earlier but did not get a seat in a previous round. All applicants must meet the NEET UG 2026 qualifying requirements and the relevant state counselling rules.
Domicile and other conditions generally apply to government and Government Quota seats. Eligible candidates from other states may be able to opt for private-college Management Quota seats, subject to the applicable rules.
Important: Choices submitted in earlier rounds have been cancelled. Previously registered candidates must fill and lock their institution preferences again. Those who do not submit fresh choices will not be considered for allotment. If you had earlier chosen only government colleges and now want to opt for private Management Quota seats, check whether an additional registration fee has to be paid.
