About Shri B M Patil Medical College, Vijayapur

The Shri B.M Patil Medical College was founded in 1986 by BLDE Association (Bijapur Lingayat District Educational Association). This association is Karnataka's renowned educational humanity trust. Currently, it runs more than 75  institutions in the Karnataka state. The college campus is spread over 65 acres of land. The Shri B.M Patil Medical College offer 150 MBBS seats every year to the students. Admission to the MBBS program is given on the basis of the student's performance in the entrance examination.
