Rishiraj College of Dental Sciences and Research Centre in Bhopal is a leading dental education institute in Central India. RCDS is a member of the LNCT group of colleges. The college was formed in 2006-2007. It is recognized by the Dental Council of India in New Delhi, the Government of India's Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in New Delhi, and is affiliated with MPMSU in Jabalpur. It features separate hostels for girls and boys, with standard food and housing amenities.
Rishiraj Dental College offers various degree programs including PG and UG courses in full-time mode which are approved by DCI. The students who want to pursue the UG dental program from Rishiraj Dental College should qualify for the NEET UG exam and those who want to pursue the PG dental program from this institute should clear the NEET PG exam. After that, the students should also sit for the state level counselling process of these exams.
Currently, the college is equipped with over 200 dental chairs and a well-maintained laboratory with all of the latest equipment. Every student gets an uninterrupted working area that is regularly overseen by faculty members from all dental specialities in each clinic. A large number of outpatients (200+) report to the dentistry college. The Departments of Dental Surgery, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Local Anesthesia, Oral Medicine and Radiology, Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Pedodontics, Orthodontics, and Prosthodontics function in their blocks inside the hospital.
