PRE-CLINICAL:

The MBBS program is divided into three professionals. The first professional is of two semesters in which Pre-Clinical subjects, the basic sciences are taught.

 Anatomy:

The Department has a Dissection Hall, Histology lab, Research lab, and Museum with a wide range of specimens, sections, models, and learning devices.

 Physiology:

The Department of Physiology is well equipped with an Amphibian laboratory, Mammalian laboratory, Haematology lab, Clinical Physiology, and Research Lab.

 Biochemistry:

The Department of Biochemistry is well equipped with instruments and equipment having Clinical Biochemistry and Research lab. It also has hospital laboratory services where investigations of indoor and outdoor patients are carried out. The department owns an auto-analyzer, semi-auto analyzer, and other sophisticated equipments to perform diagnostic tests with high accuracy.

 PARA CLINICAL DEPARTMENT:

In Second Professional para-clinical subjects are taught in three semesters i.e., III, IV, & V. These include Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine and Toxicology. Pathology:

The Department of Pathology is well equipped with laboratories for Histopathology, Pathology, Cytopathology, Haematology, and Immunoassay in the hospital and is performing all the investigations in the hospital.

 Microbiology:

Department has a Microbiology laboratory and is performing various bacteriological investigations, like cultures in body fluids, blood, pus, and smears. Laboratories of Parasitology, Mycology, Virology, Immunology, and Serology – with ELISA testing for HIV, Hepatitis, Tuberculosis, TORCH, etc.

 Pharmacology:

The Department will provide teaching and training related to drugs and pharmacy. It will carry out pharmaco vigilance and record adverse drug reactions in the hospital.

 Forensic Medicine:

It is well-equipped with learning tools related to toxicology. The department will carry out teaching and learning of forensic medicine.

NEET-PG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate) is an entrance examination conducted by the National Board of Examinations for admission to various postgraduate medical courses such as MD, MS, PG Diploma, etc. in India.

The eligibility criteria for NEET-PG admission are as follows:

1.  Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a recognized MBBS degree or provisional MBBS pass certificate from a recognized medical college or university.

2.    Internship: Candidates should have completed their one-year compulsory rotating internship on or before 31st March of the year in which they are appearing for NEET-PG.
