The Kasturba Medical College Manipal is also known as KMC Manipal. It is one of the largest self-financed medical colleges in India. The KMC Manipal was founded in the year 1953. It is also one of the oldest private medical colleges in Karnataka. The Kasturba Medical College Manipal is affiliated with the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (Deemed University), Manipal. It is also approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC). Other than these recognitions, the college has also got NAAC accreditation.
