Admission criteria for MBBS: The student must qualify in NEET for admission in MBBS – NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) conducted for granting admission for UG seats at Hi-Tech Medical College & Hospital.

Eligibility Criteria for MBBS:

Candidates who are citizens of India, NRIs, PIOs, OCIs, and foreign nationals are eligible to take NEET.

Qualifying Exam: 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English as core subjects in both Classes 11 and 12 from a recognized board.

Minimum Age Requirement: 17 years as on December 31 of the year of admission

Maximum Age Limit: No upper age limit

Qualifying Marks: UR - 50%, OBC/SC/ST - 40%, PWD - 45% (minimum aggregate marks only for PCB subjects)

Maximum Attempts: No limit on the permitted number of attempts.

the Final Professional Examination is held after the completion of the 9th semester. It is followed by a one-year "compulsory rotatory internship". After successful completion of the internship, the candidate is awarded the MBBS degree.

A candidate can visit the official portal of the Directorate of Medical Education & Training, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) will release the Odisha NEET Cut-off in 2023, with the help of the Odisha NEET Cut-off, applicants get ideas of which medical and Dental college for MBBS and BDS courses to apply for based on their rank and score in the NEET UG examination.

The NEET 2023 Cut-off will be based on various parameters like the number of appearing candidates, the number of seats, the difficulty level of the examination, and last year’s admission record.

The Cut-off marks will be announced to only those candidates who qualify for the NEET 2023 examination.

The Admission Seekers who will secure the highest mark will get the top rank, whereas the candidates with low marks will be allotted the lowest rank.

The closing rank for a particular college will be based on the total number of seats in a college with the total number of candidates who appeared in NEET 2023 Counselling.

Seat Allotment List: The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) will prepare the seat allotment list for Odisha NEET 2023 counseling based on the applicant's merit position and the choices filled by them.

Document Verification: Applicants who have been allotted a seat and wish to proceed with it must report to the respective institute for document verification. During the verification process, candidates must carry their original certificates and two attested copies for validation. Additionally, they will need to pay the tuition fee for the current academic year to confirm their admission.

Eligibility for NEET- PG:

NEET-PG (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate) is an entrance examination conducted by the National Board of Examinations for admission to various postgraduate medical courses such as MD, MS, PG Diploma, etc. in India.

The eligibility criteria for NEET-PG admission are as follows:

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a recognized MBBS degree or provisional MBBS pass certificate from a recognized medical college or university.

Internship: Candidates should have completed their one-year compulsory rotating internship on or before 31st March of the year in which they are appearing for NEET-PG.

Registration: Candidates should have a valid registration certificate issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or the State Medical Council (SMC).

Citizenship: Indian nationals, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), Persons with Indian Origin (PIO), and foreign nationals are eligible to appear for NEET-PG.
