MBBS internship and the duration:

It is mandatory for MBBS students to do a 1-year internship in any hospital. This enhances the mental, technical and behavioural skills the MBBS graduate will require while managing patients. Completing the internship period is very important for MBBS students as they will get their MBBS degree only after completing the mandatory internship. This also makes the students eligible for postgraduate admissions. While doing the internship, the students work under each department of the hospital for a certain period of time.
