Alva's Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre (AIMSRC) was established in 2026 as a proud unit of Alva's Education Foundation, carrying forward a rich legacy of service, compassion, and academic excellence rooted in a 40-year history of Alva's Health Centre, a trusted name in healthcare that has served generations with dedication and integrity.

Admission under NRI quota (on the basis of NEET ranking)

The admission under the NRI category is based on merit in the qualifying examination taking into consideration, marks secured in the core subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Foreign nationals are also considered for admission under this quota.

  1. 12th std. marks card / pass certificate.
  2. 10th std. marks card / pass certificate for proof of date of birth.
  3. Proof of NRI status (Passport copy of parent, employment certificate, Sponsorship letter)
  4. Valid passport and student visa for the period of study (Original must be shown for verification).

Undergraduate (MBBS)

A comprehensive 5.5-year program including a 1-year mandatory rotating internship.

Rules and Regulations

The institute maintains strict standards of discipline and professional conduct to ensure a safe and conducive learning environment for all students.

Anti-Ragging Policy : They enforce a strict zero-tolerance policy towards ragging in any form. Offenders will face immediate suspension and legal action as per UGC/NMC guidelines.
 
Attendance Mandatory : A minimum of 75% attendance in theory classes and 80% in clinical/practical sessions is strictly required to be eligible for university examinations.
 
Dress Code & ID Cards : Students must adhere to the formal dress code. Clean white aprons and valid college ID cards must be worn at all times within the college and hospital premises.
 

 

Campus Discipline : Use of mobile phones is restricted during teaching hours. Smoking, consumption of alcohol, or any illicit substances is strictly prohibited on campus
