. NCISM Permission – Most Important Point for 2026–27

This is the most consequential update of the current year.

In the final list published by NCISM on 10 September 2026 – "List of Permitted Ayurveda Colleges for Academic Year 2026–27" – the status of this college is:

  • NCISM College ID: AYU0103
  • Course Permitted: BAMS
  • Permitted Seats 2026–27: 51 seats
  • Seats in Previous Year: 60 seats
  • PG Seats: 0 – No MD/MS seats are permitted this year.

On the college's own website, on the Affiliation and Approvals page, it is still written as 60 seats, and they have shown NCISM letter No. 4-120/KA/MARB/2026-27-Ay dated 27 Aug 2026. This means the college has got permission, but the number of seats has been reduced from 60 to 51.

What this means for you: At the time of admission, in the KEA seat matrix, you should consider only 51 seats as final. If any agent tells you there are 60 seats or PG (MD/MS) seats, you must cross-check with the official NCISM PDF.

The official PDF is available on ncismindia.org.

  • A minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) is mandated for candidates in the General category.

  • Minimum 40% in PCB for SC/ST/OBC.

  • Age: Candidates must have completed 17 years of age on or before 31 December 2026.

  • NEET-UG 2026 qualification is compulsory.

From where will admission be done?

Since this is a private college in Karnataka, admissions are routed principally through:

A. KEA – Karnataka Examinations Authority (MAIN CHANNEL)

The overwhelming majority of seats in this institution, exceeding 90%, are allocated via the KEA. It is imperative that you register for the KEA UG NEET AYUSH counselling.

Process:

KEA Registration  →  Document Verification  →  Seat Matrix Release  →  Option Entry  →  Allotment Result

B. AACCC – All India Quota

AACCC conducts counselling only for the 15% All India Quota seats of Government, Government Aided, Deemed and Central Universities. For this private institution, KEA counselling is, in effect, the definitive and sole avenue of admission.

Documents Required by KEA and the College

  • NEET Score Card

  • 10th Marks Card

  • 12th/PUC Marks Card

  • Transfer Certificate (TC)

  • Study Certificate

  • Domicile/Nationality Certificate

  • Caste/Category Certificate (required if you are applying under a reserved category)

  • Physical Fitness/Medical Fitness Certificate

  • Aadhaar Card

  • 8–10 recent passport-size photographs

. Fee Structure – Verified Ground Reality

The official fee structure is not clearly published on the college's website. Online, portals such as Collegedunia list a total of Rs. 5 lakh, which is inaccurate and obsolete.

In Karnataka, the fees of private BAMS colleges are determined annually by the KEA. Broadly, there are three categories of fee structure:

Category of Quota

Indicative Annual Fee Range in Karnataka

Government Quota – G

Rs. 70,000 – 85,000 per annum

Private Quota – P

Rs. 2,00,000 – 2,75,000 per annum

NRI / Others Quota – N/Q

Rs. 4,00,000 – 6,00,000 per annum

Hostel + Mess charges are separate: Around Rs. 60,000 – 90,000 per year.

From the college, you must take the following in written form:

  • Tuition Fees (per year and for total duration)

  • University + Examination Fees

  • Hostel Fees (room + mess)

  • Whether any stipend is paid during internship or not

Seat Matrix and Reservation 2026–27

For a total of 51 seats, as per KEA, the likely distribution is as follows (based on the 2025–26 pattern; final KEA matrix for 2026–27 is yet to be released):

  • Government Quota: ~21 seats – 40%

  • Private Quota: ~21 seats – 40%

  • NRI Quota: ~7 seats – 15%

  • Others/Management: ~2 seats – 5%

Karnataka Reservation (within Government quota etc.)

  • SC – 15%

  • ST – 3%

  • OBC (Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B combined) – around 32%

  • Separate reservation for Hyderabad–Karnataka region is also applicable.

What is the Cut-off?

The cut-off for this college is lower than that of the premier BAMS colleges in Karnataka, owing to its rural setting.

Previous Years' Trend as per KEA Counselling

  • Government Quota – General category: NEET score around 250–320; Rank roughly 70,000 – 1,10,000 in last rounds.

  • Private Quota – General category: Even with NEET score of about 160–220, chances are there.

  • Reserved Categories: Admissions have happened even at scores of about 120–150.

For NEET 2026

  • If you are General category and score 300+, Government quota is very likely.

  • With 200+, you are generally safe for Private quota.

. Campus and Infrastructure

As per the college website:

  • Campus Area: 9 acres mentioned on the About page; 10 acres on the Home page. Built-up area: 2,870 sq. m.

  • Herbal Garden: Spread over 2 acres with more than 272 species of medicinal plants – good for Dravyaguna practicals.

Final Checklist Before Taking Admission

  • Consider 51 seats as final as per the NCISM list dated 10 September 2026.

  • Wait for and rely only on the official KEA seat matrix and fee notification.

  • Personally visit the college to check:

–         Hospital OPD/IPD

–         Hostel rooms

–         Quality of mess food

Take a written fee break-up for the entire 5.5 years:

–         Tuition fees

–         University + exam fees

–         Hostel + mess charges

–         Internship stipend (if any)

Do not pay any extra money on the name of PG (MD/MS), because PG seats are not permitted this year.

If your budget fits the Private quota range, you prefer a calm place for studies, and staying near the Maharashtra–Karnataka border is convenient for you, then this college is a decent low-budget option. For higher patient exposure and more clinical variety, colleges in bigger cities are usually better.
