Kolkata | Updated: 13 October 2026: The West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) has published the Revised Provisional Seat Allotment Result for NEET UG 2026 Round 3, along with a revised counselling schedule dated 12 October 2026.
As per the new schedule, candidates who got a seat in Round 3 must complete their college reporting and admission on 13, 14 and 15 October 2026, between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM (server time).
This revision came after a Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) advisory dated 10 October 2026. The advisory asked states to make sure that candidates who have already joined an All India Quota (AIQ) seat up to Round 3 are removed from state counselling seat processing, especially before stray vacancy allotment.
Why WBMCC Revised the Round 3 Result
WBMCC's urgent notice dated 12 October 2026 explains the reason for the change:
- The Round 3 result was processed again after removing candidates who had already taken admission under AIQ.
- Because of this, one seat at Midnapore Medical College became vacant and was added to the existing seat matrix.
- No fresh choice filling was held, as the seat was already part of the virtual vacancy matrix.
Key takeaway: This is not a new sanctioned MBBS seat. The update is only a vacancy adjustment and a compliance step after AIQ joining data was taken into account.
Revised Round 3 Reporting Dates
If you have been allotted a seat in Round 3, report on any of these dates:
- 13 October 2026, 10 AM to 4 PM
- 14 October 2026, 10 AM to 4 PM
- 15 October 2026, 10 AM to 4 PM
The earlier schedule had reporting on 12–14 October. In the revised schedule, 12 October is replaced by 15 October.

How to See the Revised Result: What to Do
Do not depend on old PDFs or informal messages. WBMCC has said that it is not possible to contact each candidate individually, so you must check the website regularly.
- Log in to the WBMCC candidate portal and download your revised provisional allotment letter.
- Check your college, course, category and allotment details carefully.
- Report with your original documents, the prescribed fees and the applicable bond formalities.
- If you are already admitted elsewhere, get a server-generated relieving letter before joining the newly allotted institute.
