Tamil Nadu NEET Counselling 2023 - The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Tamil Nadu has released the Round 1 TN NEET UG 2023 Counselling schedule. The authority will be conducting the counselling of Tamil Nadu NEET 2023 for 85% of seats under state quota and 100% of seats in self-financing colleges in Tamil Nadu.
According to the recent update, the students can check the TN NEET UG 2023 counselling eligible candidates list & rank list on the official website, tnmedicalselection.net.
Only the students whose names will be there on the eligible candidates' list will be called for counselling. The TN NEET UG 2023 Counselling is divided into three rounds including a mop-up round will be conducted. During this counselling, the aspirants are asked to submit their choices of courses and colleges to which they want to get admission.
The seats are allotted on the basis of the student's choices filled, their NEET UG score, their state merit rank, reservation, and other factors. The students who will be offered a seat during the TN NEET UG Counselling, he/she will have to report to the allotted college for reserving their admission.

What documents will be needed during the Tamil Nadu NEET UG 2023 Counselling?
The individuals should carry the following documents with them while participating in the counselling process of TN NEET UG 2023. These documents will be needed for verification/identification purposes.
- NEET exam admit card
- Class 10 mark sheet
- Class 11 mark sheet
- Class 12 mark sheet
- NEET result 2023
- Candidates applying under special category will have to carry the filled special category form (special category include persons with disabilities, sports persons and ex-servicemen)
- Candidates who have studied class 6 to 12 from Tamil Nadu will have to submit their parent’s certificate as proof of domicile
- Candidates who have partly completed classes 6 to 12 from outside Tamil Nadu will have to submit a nativity certificate
- Community certificate
- Transfer certificate
What is the complete procedure of Tamil Nadu NEET UG 2023 Counselling?
- The student will have to pay the counselling fee of Rs 500 for government colleges and Rs. 1000 for self-financing colleges via demand draft in favour of “The Secretary, Selection Committee, Kilpauk, Chennai-10”.
- The students can download the call letter for Tamil Nadu NEET counselling from the link available.
- To download the counselling call letter, the students will have to enter their application number and DOB.
- In the call letter, the date and time for counselling of Tamil Nadu MBBS 2023 will be mentioned.
- The student will have to report to the counselling venue as per the given schedule.
- The aspirants should make sure that they carry all the required documents for counselling of Tamil Nadu MBBS 2023.
- During Tamil Nadu NEET 2023 counselling, the students will be asked to submit their choices of courses and colleges.
- The students are allowed to submit as many choices as they wish.
What is the eligibility required to participate in the Tamil Nadu NEET UG 2023 Counselling?
- The students should be a citizen of India.
- Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) registered under Section 7A of the Citizenship Act are allowed to apply for Tamil Nadu NEET counselling 2023. OCI students will be treated as General candidates and can not claim reservations under any other category.
- The students should pass the NEET UG 2023 Examination.
- The student should be a native of Tamil Nadu
- A student who has cleared his/her Class 6 to Class 12 from any other state, but is a native of Tamil Nadu, will have to show the following documents of their parents:
