Jaipur, October 3: Today is a very important day for candidates of the Rajasthan NEET UG Medical and Dental Admission/Counselling Board. If you want an MBBS or BDS seat in the state, you must complete your Round 3 application by tonight. The board has made it clear that today's deadline is only for registration and form submission. Choice filling will continue till October 7.
Here is a simple, point-wise guide for the next few days.
Today's Deadlines (October 3)
If you have not applied for Round 3 yet, these cut-off times are fixed:
-
Application/Registration Fee: Pay by 4:00 PM today
-
Part 1 + Part 2 Submission: Complete and submit both parts by 8:00 PM today
-
Corrections/Edits: This is your last chance to correct mistakes in the form
The board has warned that no correction requests will be accepted after tonight. Details like domicile and category directly affect your merit and seat eligibility, so check every field carefully before you submit the form.
Who Needs to Apply Again?
-
Fresh candidates and Round 2 non-joiners: If you missed the earlier rounds, or were allotted a Round 2 seat but did not join (and your security deposit was forfeited), you must register again and pay all applicable fees again.
-
Round 2 joined candidates: You do not need to register again. You can simply fill fresh choices for an upgrade. The college you have already joined will automatically be treated as your last choice.
-
Incomplete Part 2: If you registered earlier but did not complete Part 2, you can complete it in this window.

-

-
Security Deposit: ₹50,000 (Govt MBBS), ₹2,00,000 (Management/RUHS-CMS), ₹5,00,000 (Private/NRI MBBS), ₹10,000 (BDS)
The application fee is non-refundable and is separate from the security deposit. If you paid the correct amount in an earlier round and it was not forfeited, you generally do not need to pay it again.
Round 3 Seat Matrix: 3,490 Vacant Seats
The provisional vacancy matrix published on September 23 shows 3,490 seats in total:
-
MBBS: 3,023 seats (155 Government, 55 RUHS-CMS/RAJMES, 2,061 Private General, 435 Private Management, 317 NRI)
-
BDS: 467 seats (19 Government, 377 Private General, 71 Private Management)
Choice Filling Tip: Think About "Virtual Vacancies"
Do not limit your choices only to the 3,490 seats in the matrix. Many candidates who already hold seats will take part in the upgrade. When they move to a better college, their old seat becomes vacant. These are called virtual vacancies. So the number of seats actually available can be higher than the matrix shows. Fill your choices based on a realistic view of your rank and category.
