Jaipur, September 20, 2026: The State NEET UG Medical/Dental Counselling Board, Rajasthan, has announced a time-sensitive extension for Round 2 reporting — but candidates need to understand one important detail: the September 20 (5:00 PM) deadline applies to the revised PwD/PwBD process, and it is not a general extension for all Round 2 candidates.
According to updates citing Notice No. State-UG Counseling Board-2026/171, dated September 18, 2026, the Board extended timelines after releasing a revised provisional result for PwD (Persons with Disabilities) / PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities) candidates. As a result, affected candidates have been given more time to complete their admission steps.
Revised deadlines for PwD/PwBD candidates
Reports referencing Notice No. 171 mention two separate cut-off times on September 20:
- Tuition/admission fee payment: September 20, 2026, up to 2:00 PM
- Reporting and admission formalities (document verification, joining, etc.): September 20, 2026, up to 5:00 PM
This three-hour gap matters. Candidates should not assume they can pay the fee until 5 PM. Fee payment closes at 2 PM, and only after that can reporting be completed by 5 PM.
Why was the timeline extended?
This extension is connected to the revision of the provisional allotment for PwD/PwBD candidates. Once the revised provisional result was published, candidates affected by the change were given extra time to submit fees and complete reporting.
Rajasthan's PwD revision has also been linked in reports to a Supreme Court ruling from April 7, 2026, on how horizontal reservation (PwD) should be adjusted within vertical/social categories. What about candidates who aren't PwD/PwBD?

Under that extension, round 2 reporting for the wider candidate pool was extended till September 19, 2026 (2:00 PM), with the fee deadline earlier the same day.
