NEET UG 2025 Important Dates and Details:
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the NEET UG 2025 test on May 4, 2025 (Sunday) from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (IST) in offline mode at various centers in India and abroad.
Registration Details :
Registration Start Date: February 7, 2025
Last Date to Apply: March 7, 2025 (till 11:50 PM). Candidates are advised to complete the form as early as possible to avoid last-minute stress or technical issues.
What's New in NEET 2025?
NTA has announced all significant dates in advance, including:
Correction window
- Operation city suggestion slip
- Admit card release
- Result declaration
Changes in test pattern: -
The test will be conducted only once, on a single day, and in one shift.
- Total number of questions reduced to 180 (previously 200 with optional questions).
- Test time reduced from 200 minutes to 180 minutes (3 hours).
- Optional questions have been removed.
Answer Keys, Results, and Counseling
- Provisional answer keys and OMR sheets are expected to be released in the 4th week of May 2025.
- NEET 2025 Result will be declared by June 14, 2025.
- The counseling process for admissions will likely begin from August 2025 onwards.

NEET UG 2025 Eligibility Conditions
Citizenship:
- Indian citizens
- Non-Resident Indian (NRI)
- Overseas Citizen of India (OCI)
- Person of Indian Origin (PIO)
- Foreign National
Academic Qualifications:
- Passed 10+2 or equivalent examination
- Studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English subjects from a recognized board
- Students appearing in their 10+2 test can also apply
Minimum Marks:
- General category: at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology
- SC/ST/OBC-NCL category: at least 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology
