Published: 3 October 2026

If you are taking part in Madhya Pradesh NEET UG 2026 counselling, please check the official DME portal on 3 October. The revised state merit list, the eligible candidates list and the updated Mop-Up Round vacancy position are scheduled to be published today. They will help you see your counselling status and the available seats before fresh choice filling begins on 4 October.

One thing to keep in mind: when this update was prepared, the live PDFs had not been confirmed on the DME portal. So please treat the lists as scheduled for release, not already released, until official links or documents appear. Also, do not rely on unverified seat numbers.

Merit List and Vacancy Update Scheduled for Today

As per the tentative schedule issued by the Commissioner, Medical Education, Bhopal, on 21 September, these are scheduled for 3 October:

  • Revised State Merit List of registered candidates

  • Eligible Candidates List

  • Mop-Up Round vacancy publication

The schedule calls this stage the "Mop-Up Round". Once the PDFs are available, check your name, your eligibility and the college-, course- and category-wise vacancy details before you prepare your choices.

Registration Window Has Closed

Fresh registration was open from 28 September to 2 October, till 11:59 PM, and it is now closed. As per the schedule, candidates who are already registered for MP counselling do not need to register again for Mop-Up. If you did a fresh registration, check that your details are correct in the revised list.

Participation is for NEET UG 2026 qualified candidates who meet the counselling requirements. If you missed the deadline, do not assume that registration will reopen, unless DME issues a new notice or an extension.

Fresh Choice Filling Is Compulsory

Fresh choice filling is compulsory for everyone taking part in Mop-Up. Do not assume that the choices from earlier rounds will carry forward. You must submit and lock a new set of preferences from 4 to 7 October, till 11:59 PM.

Before you lock your choices, go through the official vacancy list and arrange colleges and courses in your real order of preference, keeping your eligibility and category in mind. Check your choices once more and save the locking confirmation. If you do not submit or lock your choices within the notified window, you can miss the seat you wanted.

Check the Seat-Leaving Bond Rules

The schedule warns that the applicable seat-leaving bond will apply to candidates who resign after the Mop-Up Round begins. Read the relevant notice and the bond conditions before you accept an allotment or resign. Do not assume that the Round 2 resignation rules and the Mop-Up seat-leaving bond are the same. Confirm the rule that applies to your case from the official instructions.

For now: verify your listing and eligibility, wait for the official vacancy PDF before relying on any seat numbers, and get your fresh choices ready for 4–7 October.
