Updated: 9 October 2026 | This article is based on MCC’s published schedule, Information Bulletin and updates on mcc.nic.in.
If MCC allotted you a seat in Round 3 of NEET UG Counselling 2026, you must complete reporting and joining at the allotted institute by today, 9 October 2026. Under MCC’s published timetable for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats and institutions managed by MCC, this is the final joining date for Round 3 admissions to MBBS, BDS and other applicable undergraduate courses.
This is not a new announcement or an extension issued today. MCC had already published the reporting window, and 9 October is the final date in that schedule.
Who Must Report by 9 October?
The deadline applies to candidates allotted Round 3 seats through MCC in the following categories and institutions:
- 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats for MBBS/BDS
- Deemed Universities
- Central Universities and institutes covered by MCC
- AIIMS
- JIPMER (Puducherry/Karaikal)
- Other institutions covered by the MCC Round 3 schedule
- Applicable undergraduate courses, including B.Sc Nursing where applicable
Check your Round 3 allotment letter and the admission instructions issued by your allotted college. Institute-level requirements may vary.
MCC Round 3 Dates: What the Schedule Says
MCC’s published schedule places Round 3 reporting and joining in an early-October window, with 9 October 2026 as the final joining date for the MCC AIQ, Deemed University and Central University/institute process.
MCC also publishes a separate schedule for State Counselling, which may have a different joining deadline. For example, the separate State schedule lists 14 October 2026 as a later joining date. That date is not the deadline for MCC AIQ seats. Follow the schedule that applies to your quota and counselling authority.
Where to Check the Round 3 Final Allotment Result
You can check your allotment on the official MCC website, mcc.nic.in, in either of these places:
- The Current Events (UG) section, under “Final Allotment result for UG Round 3 Counselling”
- Your candidate login dashboard, where you can download the allotment letter
Remember: checking the result or downloading the allotment letter does not complete admission. You must still report in person and complete document verification.
