Maharashtra NEET PG 2023 Counselling: Eligibility Criteria
The Maharashtra NEET-PG admission eligibility criteria are outlined as follows:
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a recognized MBBS degree or a provisional MBBS pass certificate from an accredited medical college or university.
- Internship: Candidates should have concluded their one-year compulsory rotating internship on or before the 31st of March in the year they are applying for NEET-PG.
- Registration: Candidates should have a valid registration certificate issued by the Medical Council of India (MCC) or the State Medical Council (SMC).
- Citizenship: NEET-PG is open to Indian nationals, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), and foreign nationals.to appear for NEET-PG.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: General category candidates must secure a minimum of 50% marks in the NEET-PG exam, while reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC) must secure a minimum of 40% marks.
- Age Limit: There is no age limit for NEET-PG.
- Only candidates who are residents of Maharashtra or have completed their primary medical education in a college within the state will be eligible for seats in government colleges.

After the state merit list is announced, selected candidates will be allowed to take part in the Maharashtra NEET PG 2023 medical counselling.
· The counselling for Maharashtra NEET PG will happen online and will be conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, state of Maharashtra.
· There will be two rounds of Maharashtra NEET PG medical/dental counselling.
· If there are still vacant seats, a mop-up round of Maharashtra NEET-PG counselling (Admission) will be organized.
· During the counselling, candidates must register and choose their preferred courses and colleges.
