Rohtak, September 17, 2026: Physical document verification for Haryana NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 2 has begun today. This follows the latest notice on the official counselling portal, issued jointly by Haryana's Department of Medical Education & Research (DMER) and Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences (UHSR), Rohtak.

This round of verification covers MBBS and BDS seats across Government, Government Aided, and Private Medical/Dental Colleges, as well as the relevant Private and Minority Universities in Haryana. It's worth remembering that the Round 2 seat allotment itself was already announced on September 14, 2026 — first as a provisional list, followed by a grievance window and then final allocation. What's happening now, from September 17 to 19, is purely the physical verification of original documents.

Venue and time

Verification is taking place at the Sushruta Auditorium, Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences (UHSR), Rohtak, Haryana, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with different categories asked to report at different times.

Here's how the reporting has been divided by category:

September 17, 2026:

  • PWBD / ESM / FF — 9:00 AM
  • EWS — 9:00 AM
  • BCA — 10:00 AM
  • BCB — 10:00 AM
  • OSC / SC-D — 11:00 AM
  • NRI — 12:00 Noon

September 18, 2026:

  • OPEN — 9:00 AM
  • MINORITY — 11:00 AM

September 19, 2026:

  • MANAGEMENT — 9:00 AM

Who must come for physical verification (and who does not)

This is probably the most important point for candidates and their families to understand correctly. You need to report for verification only if:

  • You've been "Allotted" a seat in Round 2 and have already paid the provisional tuition fee online within the deadline, or
  • You've been "Upgraded" in Round 2 and have paid the required provisional tuition fee.

On the other hand, if your Round 2 result shows "NO CHANGE" — meaning your college, course and category are exactly the same as before — you don't need to appear before the admission committee again, as per the official notice.

Fee timeline and joining deadline

Here's how the fee and joining timeline works:

  • Provisional tuition fee payment: September 14 to 16, 2026 (up to 5:00 PM)
  • Provisional admission letter download: September 17 to 20, 2026 (once verification is successfully done)
  • Final reporting/joining at the allotted institute: September 20, 2026 (up to 4:00 PM)

It's a step-by-step process: first verification at UHSR Rohtak, then — once that's cleared — download the provisional admission letter, and finally report to your allotted college before the deadline.

Documents to carry (original + one photocopy set)

UHSR has released an updated list of documents. Candidates should carry the originals plus one set of photocopies, including whichever of these apply to them:

  • Class 10/12 certificates (as DOB proof), photographs, and character certificate
  • NEET UG 2026 result/score card
  • Photo ID (Aadhaar, Passport, etc.)
  • Haryana residence/Bonafide certificate (if applicable)
  • Caste/category certificates (SC/BC/EWS/PWBD/ESM/FF, etc.)
  • Proof of provisional tuition fee payment, plus a printout of the application form
  • Any required affidavits (for minority status or specific Haryana-related claims)

Certificate caution: candidates applying under BCA/BCB or EWS need valid 2026–27 certificates issued on or after April 1, 2026. An outdated or incorrect certificate could affect verification and even your seat.

Personal appearance is compulsory

The notice is clear that candidates themselves must appear with their original documents. Sending a family member or representative in your place isn't a safe option here.

Note: One line in the notice does show a typo — "14.06.2026" — for the tuition fee window, but the rest of the schedule and the portal both clearly point to September 14–16, 2026. Candidates should go by this published Round 2 timeline rather than the typo.
