Haryana NEET UG Counselling 2026 will be conducted for admission to MBBS and BDS seats under the state quota in government, government-aided and private medical/dental colleges of the state. In recent years, this counselling has been managed by the state medical education authority (DMER Haryana), and the complete schedule, information bulletin and seat matrix are published online.

Eligibility in brief

Only those candidates can participate who have qualified NEET UG 2026 with the required cut-off percentile and fulfil the eligibility conditions mentioned in the official prospectus. For state quota seats, Haryana domicile/residence rules and reservation criteria will apply exactly as notified.

Registration process

Registration is completed online in a few simple steps:

  1. Visit the official counselling website and click on New Registration.

  2. Enter NEET UG roll number, application details and personal information.

  3. Upload the required documents and photograph.

  4. Pay the registration/counselling fee online.

  5. Submit the form and save a printout for future reference.

Candidates should fill their details carefully, because incorrect information may lead to rejection at the verification stage.

Merit list

After registration and document scrutiny, the authority prepares a state merit list based on NEET UG scores, along with category-wise lists. Applicants can check their rank, category status and eligibility remarks on the portal. If any discrepancy is found, objections can be raised only within the window given in the official notice.

Choice filling and seat allotment

Once the merit list is published, candidates must complete choice filling and locking of preferred colleges and courses. Seat allotment is then done through rounds — usually Round 1, Round 2, Mop-up and Stray Vacancy — depending on merit, category, choices and seat availability. Candidates should lock choices in a realistic order of preference.

Reporting and documents

After allotment, candidates must download the allotment letter and report to the allotted college within the deadline. Documents generally required include the NEET UG admit card and scorecard, allotment letter, Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, domicile certificate, category/EWS certificate (if applicable), photo ID and passport-size photographs.
