Rohtak, September 18, 2026: Candidates who got a provisional MBBS or BDS seat in Round 2 of Haryana's NEET UG counselling are being given one final chance to complete physical document verification. Pt. B.D. Sharma University of Health Sciences (UHSR), Rohtak, has issued a fresh notice warning that seats could be cancelled if pending verification or document issues aren't sorted out in time.

In an official notification dated September 17, 2026 (No. UHSR/Acad./A-III/2026/8681), UHSR said candidates who were provisionally allotted a Round 2 seat but couldn't get their documents verified on schedule — or whose documents came up short — must report for verification, or fix any deficiencies, by September 19, 2026, 4:00 PM at the latest. This is happening at Sushruta Auditorium on the UHSR campus in Rohtak. The notice is unambiguous: miss this deadline, and the provisionally allotted seat gets cancelled.

This is worth understanding correctly — it isn't a new Round 2 allotment. Haryana had already published the Round 2 provisional merit list-cum-allotment, along with the allotment after grievance redressal, on September 14, 2026. The September 17 notice is simply about making sure allotted candidates finish their verification on time.

Who was scheduled for verification today, September 18?

Under the Round 2 physical verification schedule UHSR released earlier, today was set aside for:

  • Open category candidates, reporting at 9:00 AM
  • Minority category candidates, reporting at 11:00 AM

This is part of the Round 2 admission process for candidates who've already been allotted seats and paid their provisional tuition fee within the earlier window, which closed on September 16, 2026, 5:00 PM.

The real deadline: September 19, 4 PM

Even if you missed your category's specific slot, the September 17 notice gives you one more chance. If your physical verification is still pending, or your documents have some deficiency, you need to sort it out by September 19, 4 PM. After that, your seat is at risk.

September 19 is technically set aside for Management category verification (reporting at 9:00 AM), but for anyone with pending verification or paperwork issues, the number to remember is the 4 PM cut-off.

232 candidates cleared verification on September 17

UHSR has also put up a list titled "Round-2 List of Eligible Candidates after Successfully Physical Document Verification (Round-II) on 17/09/2026." It names 232 candidates who completed their verification that day. To be clear, this is the count of candidates verified — not the number of seats allotted.

These candidates are spread across several government and private institutions in Haryana, including PGIMS Rohtak, ESIC Medical College Faridabad, Kalpana Chawla Government Medical College Karnal, SHKM Government Medical College Nalhar, and various private medical and dental colleges.

Do you need to appear again?

According to UHSR's instructions, allotted and upgraded candidates who've paid their provisional tuition fee need to show up for physical verification. But if your college, course and category haven't changed in Round 2, you may not need to appear before the Admission Committee again — that's a specific exception in the schedule.

After verification, what's next?

Once verification is cleared, candidates can download their Provisional Admission Letter between September 17 and September 20, 2026. The final joining deadline at your allotted institute is September 20, 2026, up to 4:00 PM.

Bottom line for candidates: get verification done by September 19 (4 PM), and join by September 20 (4 PM), to keep your seat safe.

Haryana NEET UG 2026 Round 2 candidates have been given a final chance to complete physical document verification or remove deficiencies by September 19 (4 PM) at UHSR Rohtak. The university has warned that provisionally allotted MBBS/BDS seats may be cancelled if the deadline is missed; final joining is due by September 20 (4 PM).
