FMGE Result 2022: NBEMS has released the result of FMGE December session. Candidates who appeared in the exam can download the their result from the official website of the exam (https://nbe.edu.in/). NBEMS took the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (For December session) on January 20,2023.
As per the official release, candidates will be able to download their scorecards on or after February 10 from the official website nbe.edu.in. For downloading the scorecard, students will have to visit the official website and login with their username and password.
According to the current available data, around 31942 students applied for this exam out of which only 9850 students passed whereas 20700 students failed in the exam. 1372 students were absent. The passing percentage for the exam is 32.22%.
The FMGE December session examination was conducted on January 20, 2023 by NBE. The mode of this exam was computer based. The question paper was divided into two parts. Part 1 and Part 2. 150-150 questions were asked from each part so the total no. of questions was 300. The questions were asked from MBBS curriculum. Students had to obtain at least 150 marks out of 300 to be included in FMGE results.
FMGE pass certificates:
Candidates who pass the examination are given the pass certificates for FMGE. The certificates have to be collected in person from NBE office. Candidates should carry their personal documents while going to NBE office. After collecting the certificate, the certificate is supposed to be presented at MCI. Then the candidate will get the registration certificate. Once he/she gets the registration certificate, he/she will become eligible to practice in India.
What is FMGE exam?
The full form of FMGE is Foreign Medical Graduate Examination. It is a licensing examination which is conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). Anyone (Indian citizen or OCI) who has a primary medical degree from foreign universities/colleges (outside India) and wants to practice in India, are required to clear this examination to register with the National Medical Commission (NMC)/State Medical Commission (SMC). This exam is held twice in a year. FMGE is not an entrance exam but a licensing one.
