If you have been allotted a seat in Chhattisgarh NEET UG 2026 Stray Vacancy Round, this is your final call. The Directorate of Medical Education, Chhattisgarh has made it clear that the admission process will not be extended beyond this week. The entire process is now offline and physical presence is mandatory.
According to the official Scrutiny & Admission Notice issued on 20th October 2026, the process that started on 22nd October will conclude on 24th October.
Mark Your Calendar: Two Separate Deadlines
Numerous students are growing bewildered, as the DME has issued two conflicting cut-off times. Do not delay until the final hour.
-
Physical Document Scrutiny Last Date: 24th October 2026, till 4:00 PM
-
Admission at Allotted Institute Last Date: 24th October 2026, till 5:00 PM
Simply downloading the allotment letter online does not mean your admission is confirmed. You have to physically appear for verification and complete the admission formalities.
Where Should You Report? Don't Go to the Wrong Venue
This is the most crucial instruction. The reporting venue is different for government and private colleges. DME has specifically asked private college candidates not to go directly to their allotted college.
-
For Government MBBS Seats: Report directly to your allotted Government Medical College.
-
For BDS Seat at Government Dental College, Raipur: Report to the allotted college itself.
For Private MBBS Seats: All candidates allotted seats in 6 private medical colleges - including Raipur Institute of Medical Sciences, Shri Balaji Institute of Medical Sciences, Shri Shankaracharya Institute, Abhishek I Mishra Memorial College, Shri Rawatpura Sarkar Institute and Maa Padmavati Institute - must report to a common centre: Shikshak Prashikshan Sansthan Bhavan, Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Smriti Swasthya Vigyan and Ayush University, Uparwara, Nava Raipur.
For Private BDS Seats: Candidates allotted in 6 private dental colleges including Maitri, Rungta, Triveni and others must report to Government Dental College, Raipur.
Private colleges have been directed to depute their authorized staff at these nodal centres.
Documents to Carry: Keep Your File in Readiness
Carry all original documents along with sufficient photocopies. Any inconsistency could result in the forfeiture of your seat.
