Courses Covered in UGMAC 2026

UGMAC 2026 counselling is not only for MBBS. It covers admission to these courses:

  • MBBS (government and private medical colleges in Bihar)
  • BDS (government and private dental colleges)
  • B.V.Sc. & A.H. (government veterinary colleges)
  • B.F.Sc. (government fisheries colleges)

Round 3 is important because it is mostly based on the seats left vacant after Round 2, along with any seats that open up due to withdrawals allowed under the board's rules.

How Seats Are Allotted: Merit-cum-Choice

BCECEB has said that Round 3 seats will be allotted on a merit-cum-choice basis. This means:

  • Your NEET UG rank (merit) plays the main role
  • Your locked choices (preferences) decide which seat can be given to you
  • The allotment stays provisional until the verification process is complete

Only qualifying NEET does not guarantee a seat. Seat availability, your eligibility and the order of your preferences all affect the result.
