If you are a NEET UG aspirant from Bihar, your wait is almost over. The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) is set to release the UGMAC 2026 Round 3 Rank Card today, 8 October 2026.

This rank card is your entry ticket for admission to MBBS, BDS and Veterinary courses in Bihar's government and private colleges. If you are taking part in Round 3, here is what you need to do next and which deadlines you cannot afford to miss.

How to Download the UGMAC Round 3 Rank Card

As per the official notification, the rank card is prepared on the basis of your NTA NEET UG 2026 All India Rank and Bihar's reservation rules. To download it, follow these steps:

  • Go to the official website: bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.
  • Click on the link "Rank Card of UGMAC-2026 (Round 3)".
  • Enter your UGMAC ID and Date of Birth.
  • Download the rank card and take a printout for future use.

Note: This morning, the portal was still showing Round 2 data. As per the official schedule, the Round 3 link is expected to go live shortly.

Choice Filling and Locking: Your Most Important Step

Once you have your rank card, the next big step is choice filling and locking. Even if you filled your choices earlier, this is your last chance to edit them or change their order.

  • Deadline: Choice filling, editing and locking will close on 9 October 2026 at 11:59 PM.
  • Lock your choices yourself: Use OTP verification to lock them. The system may auto-lock your saved choices after the deadline, but it is safer to do it yourself and keep a printout of your choice slip.

  • Fresh applicants: Candidates who registered and paid the fee by 6 October.
  • Round 2 floaters: Candidates who chose to upgrade in Round 2. They can change the order of their choices but cannot remove the seat they already hold.
  • Candidates who resigned or whose seat was cancelled: This covers candidates whose Round 2 seat was cancelled, or who resigned within the allowed window. Important: They must fill fresh choices, otherwise they will not be considered for allotment.

Who cannot take part? Candidates who have already secured and joined a seat through the All India Quota (AIQ), or whose names are on the MCC's "weeding-out" list, cannot take part in Bihar's Round 3.

Keep Your Documents Ready

If you get a seat on 14 October, you will have only two days (16 and 17 October) for physical verification. So keep these ready: NEET admit card, score card, UGMAC rank card, Class 10 and 12 marksheets, and your category and residential certificates.

Final advice: Choice filling needs a good strategy. Check the seat matrix (published on 30 September) and think about both clear vacancies and "virtual vacancies" before you lock your final list.

For the latest updates, keep checking the official BCECEB portal.
