If you’re waiting for your Bihar UGMAC 2026 Round 2 result, here’s what’s happening today. The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has scheduled the UGMAC-2026 Round 2 provisional seat allotment result for September 25, 2026, as per the revised counselling programme it issued on September 17.
One thing to keep in mind: the “Second Round Seat Allotment Result of UGMAC-2026” link may not show up on the public download page the moment the date arrives. Until the allotment actually appears on the candidate portal (or an official result PDF is uploaded), it’s more accurate to say the result is “scheduled for today” rather than “already released.”
What exactly is scheduled for September 25?
According to the revised Round 2 timetable, today is when the Round 2 Provisional Seat Allotment Result is due. Once it’s processed and published, candidates will be able to download the Provisional Allotment Order between September 25 and September 29, 2026.
BCECEB has also fixed Document Verification and Admission for September 27 to September 29, 2026. So, if you get an allotment in Round 2, the next few days matter a lot.
Why was Round 2 extended in the first place?
BCECEB’s September 17 notice wasn’t just about pushing dates around — it also confirmed that a new private medical college is joining Round 2 counselling: Mamta Medical College and Hospital, Chintamanpur, Durundha, Siwan.
After adding this college, BCECEB released an updated seat matrix for Round 2. This updated matrix shows 100 MBBS seats at Mamta Medical College, split across UR and WQ categories.
This isn’t the only addition, either. Earlier updates to Round 2 had already brought in other new medical colleges and extra seats, including GMC Chapra (Saran), Shri Ram Janki Medical College & Hospital (Samastipur), and Kurma Sanskriti Medical College & Hospital (Jehanabad).
How many seats are up for grabs in Round 2?
The revised, updated Round 2 seat matrix now stands at a grand total of 1,634 seats, as per the official matrix PDF. It’s worth remembering that UGMAC counselling isn’t limited to just MBBS and BDS — it also covers B.V.Sc. & A.H. and B.F.Sc. courses.
BCECEB has also noted that “virtual vacancy may arise due to upgradation,” meaning the seat numbers you see can shift a little as candidates upgrade and vacate seats from earlier rounds.
How to check your Round 2 allotment today
- Go to the BCECEB official website and open the UGMAC-2026 online portal (it will redirect you to the counselling system).
- Log in to your candidate account and check for the Round 2 seat allotment status.
- Once it’s available, download the Provisional Allotment Order within the given window — September 25 to 29.
