Patna, September 24, 2026: If you're waiting for your Bihar UGMAC-2026 Round 2 seat allotment result, here's an important update. The result is not coming on September 24. According to the latest notice from the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) — Advertisement No. BCECEB(UGMAC)-2026/08, dated September 17, 2026 — the provisional seat allotment result has been pushed to September 25, 2026.
Why the confusion?
An earlier notice (Advt. No. 07, dated September 15) had said the result would come on September 24. But BCECEB revised this again on September 17 (Advt. No. 08), and this newer notice is what's currently live on the official UGMAC notice board. So, September 25 is the date to go by.
What changed in the Round 2 schedule?
BCECEB has updated the Round 2 schedule more than once this month, mainly because new colleges and seats kept getting added to the counselling pool. In the September 17 notice, the board confirmed that Mamta Medical College and Hospital, Chintamanpur, Dharaundha (Siwan), has been added to UGMAC-2026 Round 2. Because of this, an updated seat matrix was uploaded and a few dates were extended.
Here's a quick look at how the seat matrix kept growing:
- Advt. No. 06 (September 11): Government Medical College, Chapra (Saran), and Shri Ram Janki Medical College & Hospital, Samastipur, were added, along with a few other updates.
- Advt. No. 07 (September 15): K.K. Medical College & Hospital, Rajgir (Nalanda), was added, and 50 more seats came up at Himalaya Medical College & Hospital, Paliganj (Patna).
Since the seat matrix was revised again on September 17, it's best to check the latest matrix on the BCECEB portal rather than relying on older numbers you may have seen elsewhere.

A quick word of caution for September 24
Right now, on September 24, don't go by claims saying "Round 2 result declared today." That's not accurate unless the result link is actually live on BCECEB's UGMAC download/notice section. The correct line to remember: the Round 2 provisional allotment result is scheduled for September 25, as per the latest BCECEB notice.
What should you do once the result is out?
- Go to the UGMAC-2026 section on the BCECEB website and open the Round 2 allotment result link once it's available.
- Check your allotted college, course and quota carefully.
- Download and print your Provisional Allotment Order (available September 25–29).
- Get ready for document verification and admission at your allotted college between September 27 and 29, 2026, following the instructions given there.
