Here's something worth keeping in mind: UGMAC-2026 and UGMAC[AYUSH]-2026 run as two separate counselling streams. So, today's Round 2 result is only for MBBS, BDS, B.V.Sc. & A.H., and B.F.Sc. seats under UGMAC-2026. What's inside the Round 2 result
The provisional allotment list gives detailed candidate and seat information. Don't just check whether you've got a seat — go through the allotted institute/college, course, category, quota/seat type and remarks carefully. This matters because your admission and reporting will follow exactly what's mentioned in your allotment order, so any mismatch can cause problems later.
Along with the allotment result, BCECEB has also put out the Round 2 opening and closing ranks, which show the last allotted rank for each institute and category in this round. One thing to remember: an opening/closing rank isn't a single state-wide cut-off — it changes depending on the college, course, category/quota and round combination.

- Document verification and admission: 27 to 29 September 2026
Since the verification/admission window is quite short, it's a good idea to sort out your travel and documents early rather than wait for the last day.
Seat availability in Round 2
BCECEB's revised Round 2 seat matrix shows a total of 1,634 seats across participating institutes and courses. Here's the course-wise breakdown:
- MBBS: 1,499 seats
- BDS: 57 seats
- B.V.Sc. & A.H.: 49 seats
- B.F.Sc.: 29 seats
Keep in mind that these numbers can shift due to upgradation or virtual vacancies, so it's best to rely on the live counselling updates for the most accurate seat position.
Why Round 2 saw schedule changes
One notable change this round was the addition of Mamta Medical College and Hospital, Siwan, to the updated seat matrix. The college has been listed with 100 MBBS seats (including UR and WQ distribution), and this addition was one of the reasons the Round 2 timeline was revised and extended before the allotment result was published.
How to check the Round 2 allotment
Head to bceceboard.bihar.gov.in and open the UGMAC-2026 area or Download Section to access the Round 2 allotment result and related files. To download your provisional allotment order and take further steps, you'll need to log in to the official counselling portal using your roll number, password or other registered details as asked on screen.
What to do after allotment: Freeze vs Float
Once you get a seat, you'll usually need to submit your willingness and complete fee/payment steps as per the portal's instructions. The counselling system generally gives you two options:
- FREEZE: accept and keep the allotted seat, with no further upgradation
- FLOAT/Upgradation: keep your current seat but stay open to a possible upgrade in later rounds, as allowed by BCECEB notifications
