Today, October 6, 2026, is the last day to register for Round 3 of Bihar UGMAC-2026 counselling. The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) is closing the window tonight. If you have not yet registered or submitted your application, you need to do it before the deadline to stay in the race for Round 3 seats in MBBS, BDS, B.V.Sc. & A.H., and B.F.Sc. courses.

According to the official Round 3 schedule and notices on the BCECEB UGMAC portal, there are two different deadlines today. One is for fresh applicants, and the other is for candidates who registered earlier and now need to give their consent for Round 3.

What closes today (October 6)?

Key deadlines to note:

  • Fresh Registration + Application Submission + Applicable Payment: 11:59 PM (Oct 6)
  • Round 3 Consent + Applicable Payment (for previously registered eligible candidates): 10:00 PM (Oct 6)

Please do not leave this for the last hour, especially the payment. Online transactions can get delayed, and one delay can make you miss the cut-off.

Round 3: Important dates coming up

After today's deadlines, these are the next steps in Round 3:

  • Round 3 Rank Card: October 8, 2026
  • Choice Filling/Editing/Locking (till): 11:59 PM, October 9, 2026
  • Provisional Seat Allotment Result: October 14, 2026
  • Provisional Allotment Order Download: October 14-17, 2026
  • Document Verification & Admission: October 16-17, 2026

Note: The choice filling deadline (Oct 9) is different from the application/payment deadline (Oct 6). If you do not finish registration, application and payment on time, you cannot count on the choice filling window that comes later.

Who can take part in Round 3?

Round 3 is for NEET UG 2026 qualified and eligible candidates who:

  • did not register earlier, or
  • registered earlier but did not complete the application submission/payment, and
  • are not admitted to any medical/dental college.

Some candidates from the earlier rounds can also join Round 3 by giving Round 3 consent, depending on their Round 2 status and BCECEB rules. In certain cancellation cases (such as Not Reported/Resigned/Withdrawal/discrepancy), fresh choice filling is compulsory.

Corrigendum updates you should know about

BCECEB has issued two important corrigendums:

  • October 2, 2026: Reserved-category candidates (BC/EBC/SC/ST) who by mistake selected UR/EWS in the private college category field have been clarified as eligible to participate, subject to the rules.
  • October 3, 2026: A typing error was corrected in the headings of the fee/security deposit table. The Round 3 dates have not changed.

Fees and security deposit (highlights)

Counselling/registration fee (non-refundable):

  • Government colleges: ₹1,200 (UR/EWS/BC/EBC); ₹600 (SC/ST/DQ)
  • Private colleges: ₹1,200 for all candidates

Security deposit (refundable as per rules):

  • Govt Medical/Dental/Vet/Fisheries: ₹10,000 (UR/EWS/BC/EBC); ₹5,000 (SC/ST/DQ)
  • Private Medical: ₹2,00,000
  • Private Dental: ₹50,000

Round 3 vacant seats: 679 vacancies reported

The official Round 3 vacant seat list shows 679 vacancies across categories. A big share of these, 343 seats, are under the NRI category. The rest are spread across UR, EWS, BC, EBC, SC, ST, DQ and other categories. BCECEB also says that virtual vacancies may come up because of upgradation, so check the latest seat matrix once more before you lock your choices.

  • Look out for your Rank Card on Oct 8
