BIHAR NEET PG 2023 Counselling: Eligibility Criteria

The UP NEET-PG admission eligibility criteria are outlined as follows:

  1. Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a recognized MBBS degree or a provisional MBBS pass certificate from an accredited medical college or university.
  2. Internship: Candidates should have concluded their one-year compulsory rotating internship on or before the 31st of March in the year they are applying for NEET-PG.
  3. Registration: Candidates should have a valid registration certificate issued by the Medical Council of India (MCC) or the State Medical Council (SMC).
  4. Citizenship: NEET-PG is open to Indian nationals, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), Persons of Indian Origin (PIO), and foreign nationals.to appear for NEET-PG.
  5. Minimum Qualifying Marks: General category candidates must secure a minimum of 50% marks in the NEET-PG exam, while reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC) must secure a minimum of 40% marks.
  6. Age Limit: There is no age limit for NEET-PG.
  7. Only candidates who are residents of Bihar or have completed their primary medical education in a college within the state will be eligible for seats in government colleges.

Now, candidates need to select the course and colleges they prefer from the list provided by Bihar State Government (Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB)). Aspirants can choose options as they like. Aspirants need not forget to lock the preferences; otherwise, they will be locked automatically after the due date. Bihar NEET-PG Medical Admission Counselling Process: Seat allotment

After candidates register online, the Office of the Chairman, Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB), Bihar State Government Will Publish the allotment status for Bihar NEET PG based on their NEET PG 2023 scores. Only those candidates included in this list will be allowed to take part in the counselling process for Bihar NEET PG Medical Admission Counselling 2023.

Bihar NEET-PG Medical Admission Counselling Process: Counselling Process 

After the state merit list is announced, selected candidates will be allowed to take part in the Bihar PG 2023 medical counselling.

·        The counselling for Bihar NEET PG will happen online and will be conducted by Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB), Bihar State Government.

·        There will be two rounds of Bihar PG medical/dental counselling.

·        If there are still vacant seats, a mop-up round of Bihar NEET-PG Medical Admission Counselling (Admission) will be organized.

·        During the counselling, candidates must register and choose their preferred courses and colleges.

·        It's essential for candidates to submit their choices within the given time.

·        The Bihar-NEET PG admission 2023 will depend on the availability of seats and the candidates' preferences.

·        Candidates who are allotted seats during the Bihar PG medical/dental counselling will need to report to the respective college.

·        During reporting, candidates must pay the admission fee and submit the necessary documents.

Reporting to the Institute & Required Documents

Candidates who are allocated a seat in the Bihar NEET PG 2023 Medical Admission counselling process are required to report to the allotted institute. They need to bring all their original certificates along with a self-attested copy. BIHAR NEET PG 2023 Seat Matrix:

The seat matrix of Bihar NEET PG 2023" refers to the number of seats available in each specialty course. It also specifies the number of seats available for different categories of candidates. This information will be released before each round of Bihar NEET-PG Medical Admission Counselling (Admission) 2023. Few important notes:

  1. Once a candidate submits the online application form, he or she cannot withdraw it or get a refund for the counselling fee.

  3. If the candidate pays the Counselling Fee or Security Deposit, but the payment doesn't reflect due to technical issues, don't wait for the update. Instead, make the payment again to ensure your application is accepted. The failed transaction amount will be returned to your account within 7-8 banking working days.
  4. The Final Merit list will be prepared by cross-referencing the data submitted by candidates with the information provided by the National Board of Examination/ Health Deptt., Govt. of Bihar.
  5. The Rank Card / Merit List will be published on the Board's Website on the scheduled date.
  6. There will be no further chance for registration and online application submission after the due date for online submission of the application. So, make sure to complete the process on time.
